HELLO everyone!!

As usual the forum seems to be dead...

everyone seems to be just doing a peek a boo,visiting the forum and not replying...

I honestly fail to understand how the trp system seems to work...

let me put a disclaimer first...i am going to refer to a few serials without actually naming them...criticism is welcome but at the end of the day this is my opinion...

There are quite a few shows whose trp number astounds me literally...i mean how the zee tv show gets the most trps is beyond me...tried watchin it a few times...ended up with a headache...regressive storyline...dialogues which are so long and that too and at life threatening giving bhashans...!!!

but sadly it is the numero uno show...

and there is another show on zee tv...which took a leap...about reincarnations...it was boring frankly...but i must say a few episodes post leap with the new heroine seem watchable...

and star plus's own show...yhm and sns...yhm has great actors and regressive plot again...

sns...God knows what...

and again Sony tv has a gem of a show krpkab...it is hugely popular but dismal trps...

why???

and coming to our own show...HTHGHPKK...imo...

Good actors...good chemistry...great cast...a bit of a weak plot at times i admit but individual episodes are really good at times...

and the episodes since two weeks or so seem to be consistenly good...

but why is the show stuck on trp 1.0???

it deserves a better one...

there is another show,ishqbaaz...which i admit is good...engaging and funny...it has a trp of 1.7 i suppose...its very popular but i think it should get more than 2 trp...

its been around two months since the show has been launched...and 8:30 seems to unlucky slot as most of the shows have been scrapped after a short while...and my greatest worry is is this show going to follow the same course?will it be taken off air??

that will be so heartbreaking...

by the way my serial love began since the days of kyunki saas bhi...then didnt watch for 5-6 years or so...but later got hooked to pratigya,naa aana is desh meri laado...,dabh for a short while...and now this show...

i am 24 years and a doctor...but i admit serial addiction is a bane sometimes...

i wonder if anyone is even going to reply...but anyway...

See that's a problem with youth based show or even a story that seems to interest younger audiences , they never get high trps

This show in particular is a different concept and SP will most likely scrap it after a few days since it's not doing wonders on the trp chart

For a channel like Sony, the trp for KRPASB Is really good but the same trp for SP is highly risky

you are right!!

Star plus seems to scrap shows as frequently as cutting one

's nails...(which I do quite frequently)

but this show is leaps and bounds better than silsila pyaar ka...though remains to be soon whats gonna happen...there are so many shows in the pipeline now...

it really would be heartbreaking if this show ends soon...
