What a heart warming episode it was! This was the episode which I've been waiting for so long. The glimpse of the Oberois as a normal family, with ties that bypass the external trappings of wealth and ego.

yes and on top it showed that deep down they still had the roots, and just routine problems have distance them so much now

Interactions between Rudra and Tej (Hallelujah!😃), Om and Tej,Shakti and Tej(a little dumbstruck still seeing Shakti talk😆) and the dining table scene. Goes to show that the Oberois are not really beyond redemption, and that with a little effort,the dysfunctional nature of the family can be cured. But this is easier said than done of course. The lure of naam, paisa and power is not that easy to resist after all.

TejVi. Adore these two. Loved how Tej ignored the phone call from Svetlana during these family moments. He seems to be more and more enamoured with Jhanvi everyday and is returning to a semblance of their old dynamic. Cuties.❤️

yep despite having so many problems and always fighting, you can still see that deep down they care for each other, even if at time you can see that they have no expectation from their marriage anymore

Omkara is not that easily swayed however, and with good reason. His skepticism is not unfounded. Some wounds are not so easily forgotten. 🥱

you can never forget your father having a mistress and that mistress even coming on and off in your house, and on top your mom becoming a drunkard because of this and not to say Tej always after him to overtake Shivaay... guess he no longer trusts his father anymore now

I still loved Tej and his fatherly affection towards Rudra and Om though. Somewhere down the line, he seems to have messed up irreconcilably and that has had a deep, everlasting impact upon the children. 🥱

Shivaay as usual is the provider or nurturer who's taken upon himself to look after his family...be it through food or by being their guardian. The look of longing on his face seeing the family unity was heart warming⭐️

Yep, he has cared for OmRu as if they were his kids, he can fight against anyone to protect OmRu, and against anyone to protect his family... but you can also see a loneliness in his eyes, not that OmRu dont love him,but he also wants to be loved and protected... maybe because he has missed that completely from his parents

Most significant scene for the day was the Shakti-Tej one. The senior ObBros reminiscing a simple life in the village before everything became messy and complicated. Quite a lovely scene...but replete with foreshadowing. Will this be the fate of the current ObBros too? Will they succumb to the lure of money and external forces that will break their bond? I hope not.

Money and power pitted these two brothers against each other, and also they have a secret where something wrong happened... both went against each other in terms of principles here... but let's see what the CVs give us w.r.t them

And Soumya takes Rudy for a ride. I love you Soumya...but I do think she took it a little too far today.🥱

A nice parallel to the Oberoi family moment was the Anika and Sahil scene. Hers might not be as big a family, but she's happy in her compact world comprising solely of her and her brother. 😊

Anika has so many problems, and the CVs always putting so much enphasis on this cant be coincidence in my eyes, if you know what i mean here
