Fight or Flight

I know we have all discussed the choti Sumo visit a lot. Honestly I am not disappointed with the younger Sumo because it is consistent with her characterisation and older Sumo because she takes everything at face value. Anyway let me get to the point, I have a different take on this, so feel free to disagree 😉 or agree.


Till last night I was thinking Shravan suicide, no way. But now I can see how it fits. Once he knows of the Sumo-Adithya rishta he will be broken again and will probably attempt something, if not consciously may be subconsciously he will do something,he is going to be ruthless. And I think Sumo will fight to get him back to his feet (symbolically ) .

Beneath every strong independent woman likes a broken girl who had to learn to get back and never depend on anyone..

I thought i'll make a post along the same line , glad you did!

The mean little girl was Sumo's coping mechanism and it's unfortunate Shrav spent more time with her and was victim of her silly ploys to prove dominance.

The real Sumo is the scared girl who peeped thr' windows waiting for her parents to come and take her away and push her swing. I thought Shrav understood Sumo from that day. Apparently, the little boy was scarred too much & forgot her vulnerability.

Interesting contrast in their younger selves. Sumo draws strength from her younger self and Shrav sees that as his most vulnerable period,where he got dumped by both the women he cherished. He fled and changed himself to a suave lawyer, but, till last night in Sumo's presence he was that little boy,who cared for her too much.

I'm curious to see how grown up Shrav is gonna deal with Sumo, who has her bitch mode on😆

even i tried to understand choti sumo's advice .. it was little off so i started to think .. maybe this sumo was not the friend of shravan but that lost girl who just wanted to have fun, make superficial friends and not think too deep just to ward off her loneliness .. remember sumo's own description of herself before she met shravan ..

so it was like her insecurity of being alone after being branded a shallow friend making her feel " just forget the pain , just focus on what u have and keep moving " ...
