Btw, oru doubt: Is it normal in Indian households for visiting in laws to enter the kitchen uninvited and inspect the contents of the dishes etc? For once I was in complete agreement with Dimple's irritation as I would have been equally offended by Vani's actions. Once they had been set up on their own, Surya and Dimple are the King and Queen of their home. Others shouldn't be presumptuously walking in and deeming it appropriate to comment on their way of life. They were sent out on their own to make a life for themselves, allow them to do it without any interference or imposition of the in law's household standards. In this one incident, I'm on Dimple's side though I'm completely against the way she reacts to it with Surya in the next episode.

MIL (and all her sisters, brothers, friends) has all rights not only to enter kitchen but to enter any room at any time without prior intimation 😳 .. Fi you are staying away doesn't mean they don't control you.. every minute detail status update has to be provided on phone..
