More on Fawad khan, word has it that he's been reportedly signed for a dharma-Fox film with Katrina Kaif! Directed by debutant Aditya Dhar!
BIG PUNJABI WEDDING FOR FAWAD AND KAT
Katrina Kaif and Fawad Khan are all set to team up for Karan Johar and Fox Star Studio's next production. It marks the directorial debut of writer-lyricist Aditya Dhar. According to a source close to the development, it's a love story set in North India and unfolds against the backdrop of a big fat Punjabi wedding.
The source says, "The shoot is expected to kick off in Delhi sometime in November. Fawad is set to welcome his second child in October in Pakistan and will be by wife Sadaf's side till the baby is born. The film will roll once he's back in India and ready to resume shoot."
The story revolves around Fawad and Katrina's quirky, onscreen Punjabi families and will be a celebration of North Indian culture and revelry. The source adds, "Once done with the Delhi schedule, the team will move abroad. The locations are yet to be finalised and will be decided once Karan Johar returns from the US where he is currently on a concert tour."
We contacted Aditya who did not deny the news but refused to divulge any details saying he is not authorised to comment on the project yet. Composer Amaal Mallik who has been part of Dharma's recent projects is reportedly on board too but he too remained unavailable for comment. The film is expected to wrap up by January and the team is looking at a 2017 release. Fawad will next be seen in Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
Kaif To Romance Fawad Khan
Katrina Kaif will soon get busy promoting Baar Baar Dekho while also finishing shooting Anurag Basu's Jagga Jasoos. Why, the actress has also signed her next film opposite Fawad Khan, a film that will be produced by Dharma Productions. The film will see Aditya Dhar making his debut as director. Earlier, Dhar had assisted Vishal Bhardwaj and Priyadarshan.
A source close to the director says, "The film starts rolling in November and will be shot in various parts of India and a few schedules will take place abroad. It's a love story with a twist. The film will be wrapped in 60 days and will probably hit cinemas in the middle of next year."

It's Called Raat Baaki
Last week, we at Box Office India, told you that Aditya Dhar would make his debut as a director under Dharma Productions and the film would feature Katrina Kaif romancing Fawad Khan. The film is set in Delhi and is a love story. It starts rolling from November end.
Now we hear that the director, who was looking for an apt title for the film, has finally found one - it's called Raat Baaki. We also hear that even before the film goes on the floors, the director who is also a lyricist, has started working on the music. Since the film is a love story, the producers want it to be a musical too.
