7 years to Kaminey- Anybody liked Sweety?

So it's 7 years to Kaminey so I thought I'll make a topic on Sweety! 😆

PC has some top rated perfomances- but the less screen time roles are not talked about much! Yes MK, Barfi, Fashion are good but I really really liked Sweety from Kaminey or Ayesha from DDD which are really underrated in terms of her other perfomances.

I Infact rate Sweety even better than Meghna! I loved the freshness & realness in Sweety and the chemistry she had with Shahid 😃 She looked really good in the movie and the abandon with which she danced in Pehli Baar MOHABAT! Shahid's Guddu was so cute too!

Vishal did a very good job! And it was Shahid - PC's best perfomances!

^This is one of my most favorite dances! Like how absolutely natural in terms of choreography and excitement the couple have! 😆

Oooh, I love Sweety! She was a theeki mirchi. 😆 I liked the little dips of Marathi speech that Sweety's made PC's performance was so real & believable.. She was quite mad too, Sweety, but her love for innocent Guddu was so sweet & believable. She would kill & die for her love. I loved PC's performance!!! She's my favourite actress currently but you already know that. PBMKH was one of those rare dancey numbers with meaningful lyrics, the entire ST was quite a gem!

How would you define Sweety?

It is one of my most FAV perfomances of PC! I did not see PC AT ALL. This was all Sweety, like how do you even imagine a sex bomb like PC being such a normal belivable young girl, all fiesty and cute! she got into the skin of the character, with those Marathi words, her body language, how she is a brat being the big gunda's sister but still so believably in love with guddu ❤️ It is also one of my favorite looks of PC, she is one actress who can look as young as she wants! They really looked some young couple in love. I loved her look in the film, the simple kurtas and the haircut which made her look really young. And how hot did she look in Pehli baar, I even loved shahid as the shy Guddu! He was so cute and so distinguished from his brother ❤️

She is my favorite actress all time but you know that too 🤣 I wanted to ask you though currently matlab kya? Teri favorite actress keeps changing kya? Usually in this forum, I've never really seen people leaving their favs Ek baar jo favorite banane ka commitment, phir koi change nahi karta 😆

^^ I don't really have favourites so for me it's difficult to say. And my favourites aren't favs because of their acting but totally different reasons like their public persona/perceived intelligence etc. And no, I most definitely do not have favourites the way most of IF does. 🤣

Probably my favourite female actor would be Sridevi. I love Ash, Balan & PC & call them my favourites to just simplify matters. 😆 I sent you a PM btw.

I was type of disappointed with this movie, not that it was bad or even average, it was good , but I wanted it to be great. but oh boy Shahid's double role and Priyanka, and all those cast from Amol Gupte to that guy who played Lobo and the guy who played Tashi, plus that guy who played Shahid's friend were all fantastic. one of the best casting of BW ever. since this thread is about Sweety, let me keep it to her only. She was impressive, played this character like a proper Vishal Bradwaj heroine who is a bitch and also an angel at the same time. agree about that her Marathi, she pulled it off really well. no doubt she is one of the best main stream actress ever.

I love this movie and its my most favourite performance of PC's. Sweety was so relatable, earthy and real. I loved her manipulative, fierce and fearless personality. Just adore this character😃

I love Sweety! Priyanka played her so well! One of my favourite PC performances!
