So the show defines BrahmaRakshas as a person that gets mauled by an animal (on a certain night) and the person's spirit enters the animal to become a BrahmaRakshas.

RainbowPearls mentioned an article (TellyChakars) that gave their definition of Brahmarakshas

PS: Here's the definition of Brahmarakshas, for all those who do not know about it.

There are some spirits which have unfulfilled wishes and in some cases there are spirits which are cursed by Lord Bramha, so neither do they get a place neither in hell nor in heaven. They are neither considered as a good spirit nor as a bad one. And when the spirit possess an animal's body, it transforms itself into Brahmarakshas.

Well, might as well join the bandwagon and come up with my own definition of BrahmaRakshas, and I'd like to hear yours too

That's what I got from watching. I would like to add that now I think that BR can possess anyone. Living or dead and BR is definitely vengeful.

BR are cursed by Lord Bramha...as far as i read abt them...they have a temple in south india...people prays to them...they are cursed becos of their bad deeds...they neither have a place in hell nor heaven and they are can only killed by Lord Bramha...i don't know abt them possessing humans or shape-shifting...infact i don't know whether they do exist or not...in mythology they do exist...just like Lord Krishna cursed Ashwathama...its the same Lord Bramha curse on humans for their overload sins...that they turn into a BR...

whatever EK shows in the show..there is no truth to it...maybe there is 30% of truth but 70% its folklore based for entertainment...the real story is something else...google abt BR...you will know some stories abt it

According to Vedas Brahmarakshas is a Brahmin by birth who did something wrong in his life or misused his knowledge for wrong deeds after there death they will be punished and they won't get liberation & becomes a demon
Yes they can posses in anyone's body

BR is one powerful sprit on mission kill Brides🤔
He has no problem with man holding sindoor ki thali but when that same color touches a woman's forehead he becomes all active😕
He is restricted towards that particular village, rules the jungle...and come back to his haveli at night😕

I forgot to add on.my late grandfather used to tell me BR are those brahmins who are cursed by lord bramha who does sins and they live in a tree..peepal tree..
