10 sarees used in one movie against 150 small clothes differently designed (?) from shorther clothes...... which of this requires more clothes??? i m clueless about lengths, i dont use them na😆

Yes films do reflect the society whether in fanstasy or surreal form it depends. Tally made a wonderful depiction of movies and eras. If we see over the years the stories reflect the contemporary settings in terms of communication, dressing styles, photography, music, decors etc . Even the storylines are based in today's times now the treatment can be shoddy or captivating. The participation of corporates in the film industry has also brought in fresh wave of ideas and stories which are can touch people across cultures.

Some films do , some films partially do and some films Dont .

Ghosla Ka gosla , Chak de , swades , lagaan ,HAHK ,company many old movies do depict the real society very well .

Films like devdas , hum dil de chuke , don , parinita etc depict society partially .

and some pics like

OSO , main hoon na , paheli , cheeni kum ,fanaa, hey baby etc dont depict society in any way .

respectively... yes they do... one example i can think of right now, would be "Aan - Men at Work", its quite old... and the corruption in India is depicted very well in the film... i haven't seen much of the corruption with my own two eyes or anything, but from what my parents have experiencedand have told me about this issue, i would say such films would indeed reflect our society...

Films one way or other reflects the society. But films like CID Moosa which is a commody, tom and jerry type has also became a commercial hit.(Priyadarsan may bring it to Hindi as the case of Manichhitra thazhu = Bhool Bhulayya and Hay baby which is also a Malayalam remake) 😉 .

In this world of stress and strain I like to watch commody films.
