Fawad's LOSS is Abhay's GAIN
Abhay Deol grabs the project while Fawad Khan was stuck in between his dates...
Fawad Khan is the recent sensation in Bollywood. With his flawless acting skills, he has not only captivated the hearts of the audience but also has become a favorite among the filmmakers. Following which all of them want to cast him in their films. But, as busy as he is, Fawad was not able to take up numerous projects at one time.
Recently, there were reports that Fawad was the first choice for 'Happy Bhag Jayegi' but somehow it didn't work out and Abhay Deol came on board. When IANS asked the producer of the film Krishika Lulla, she said: "We were contemplating it, but it was a long back. Yes, we did think of him but at that time Fawad was doing something else and his dates were not there."
She further added that Abhay "loved the script" and instantly said yes for it. "He is very choosy about his projects. It's the content that got Abhay and Diana Penty together for the film and we have Pakistani actors also. It was a good experience."
In the film we will see Abhay Deol playing a Pakistani man, Bilal.
"Happy Bhag Jayegi" is written and directed by Mudassar Aziz. The film stars Abhay Deol, Diana Penty, Ali Fazal and Pakistani actress Momal Sheikh and is all set to hit the silver screens on August 19.
