Gayu Grandmother

Why is Gayu's grandmother poising gayu against Akshara. Im sorry but Akshara is her mami and at the end of the day her own daughter does come first especially since they patched up after 7 years.

You really amuse me. I get it that her daughter does come first but then she shouldn't potray infront of everyone that gayu and naira are same for her. She should keep it plain and simple. I have no issues with naira or gayu but with akshara and singhania family who are giving naira much more importance than required. And again people will come defend that naira was not with them for several years blah blah blah so basically they are showing that gayu was just present to fill naira's place and once naira is back her importance is reduced. And it is repeated several times in the show i remember ananya saying to gayu that you fulfilled a place of sister in naksh's life when naira was not present. They themselves have reduced the character of gayu to nothing but just a substitute of naira. No issues if they do this just keep it upfront don't just play with her feelings.

That is Gayu's real dadi. (NIkhil's mother- Rashmi's first husbands mother)

Rama(dadi) disowned her son when he cheated on Rashmi and moved abroad.
She kept Rashmi and took care of her as her own daughter. She is attached with her grand daughter Gayu and understands her pain. She is very protective of her.

Nikhil never cared for his daughter and it is my understanding Gayu has no relation with him.
She considered her mother Rashmi's 2nd husband her father but both of them passed away.

Gayu filled a void in Naitik/Akshara's life when Naira was missing.
She helped them to move forward each day.

I understand the pain that Gayu is feeling. Mami and mom are not the same things.

I don't think so as in the minds of Ak & whole family members have the difference between gayu & naira, Ak & others tried equally to be for both girls in their competitions..Creatives show the sudden change in Naira for Ak after chandu's incident & she realized her mistake, Now Naira wants to give full attention to her mom as she feels responsible for the pain & loss of beautiful years lost becoz of her misunderstandings of her towards Ak, No doubt Gayu fills the void in lives of Nk & Ak when Naira was not there , But both Naksh treated her like their daughter & even stilll Ak's dialogue to bhabhi maa y'day Ki Kahin bahar goomne jaayein toh chaaru jaayein which include Gayu too so how can we blame Ak & others as they have started given more priority to Naira after her come back

Plus Akshara was about to say and GAYU also when Naira's phone rang.. With regards to the pendant, neithe Akshara or Naira was at fault.. The pendant was put in between them 2 without mentioning who it is for and where it comes from..

Akshara has openly n fully accepted Gayu as her daughter and Gayu's character is just seeking for viewers's sympathy by erasing the word Maa from her card.. Ie what stopping her from calling her Maa???

Akshara still consider, treated, loved and supported her like her daughter..


Think about the competition, thought she wasnt physically there, her mind was still with Gayu.. She kept on saying I couldnt be there, she rang Gayu and said so many powerful and meaningful word to Gayu while her own daughter's results were being announced..

Akshara is a super mum and like any other mum, she loves all her children the same just sometimes she will favours one over the other as an when it requires as she did for Duggu's wedding but she unintentionally ignored Naira.. Thats how the whole misunderstanding with Naira started anyway as Shukanya was poisoning Naira's mind against Akshara..

Gayu's dadi is doing them same.. But its testing time for Gayu.. It will be hard for her to share Akshara's love and attention but at the same time she should consider herself lucky to have it in the first place!! Her relationship with Akshara is purely related to the heart and no blood is involved.. Its her Maami and not Massi

gayu's grandmother favours her grandchild but if a mother favours her lost daughter whom she got after so many years n so much of differences for 1minimum day thats a crime??its just 1day after the patch up..what ppl expect akshara to do?it was her dream to b with naira.n some ppl told naira is overacting after everything becomes normal.like seriously??she got her mother back n she has a lot to say to her mother thats y yesterday she wanted to spend most of time with her for 1night n thats such a overacting.naira was always a jolly,outspoken girl.i agree they r making gayu to gain sympathy of viewers.why so much abla nari n bechariness.couldnt she ask akshara did u get my gift after seeing the pendant on naira's neck...if u cant able to connect with the change dont expect the change to connect with u without knowing ur problem.

Friends for me neither one to be blamed for such circumstances created by creatives for misunderstanding for Ak from gayu & her dadi point of views but both the girls are equally right if we see from their prespctive..I feel happiness for naira but on the side feel sympathetic for gayu too..I can feel her pain inside also, even for me gayu's dadi is right to some extent..No one is ignoring gayu & she has been well treated by them..I am waiting for the emotional scene between Ak & gayu when she freely & openly express her feelings for Ak & their hug, family bonding scenes & that will be treat to watch as one of best emotional scenes in yrkkh.

Agree with you Vandana, We have to judge from every one vision, me too feel no one is wrong if we see from their angle..Importance of gayu is not reduced in the eyes of Ak & others at all but the circumstances are such as both the girls had competition on same day & Ak was needed both places, She tried & even helped both the girls to win their competition..Suddenly Naira realized her mistake & she wanted her mom to be with her , nothing wrong in it, Ak bought gift for gayu & even gayu too for Ak, This shows the sweet bonding between them..I have no complaint for any character & Want gayu too be very happy & enjoying her life with every one.

But i am curious to know where is Rashami?
