One more episode that felt rushed. I seriously want to scream out loud Whatsss going onnn???????
Best scene of the epsiode
Sona's talk with her father. The way they get emotional turnaround and try to avoid their tears. The moment when Baba gets so excited when he hears that Ishwari has accepted Sona and the immediate switch to getting emotional. That was superb acting. Looking at Sona and her Baba in tears with their back to each other was very touching. Could so relate to it.
Wait a minute did I just say relate to it...Yup that WAS 1 of the main USPs of this show. That its so relatable. But Sorry! Other than Baba and Sona's talk could NOT relate to anything else in the episode.
1. Ishwari's insecurities - Is it really insecurities? Coz its turning out to look like something else. I mean we understand that the story needs to be taken fwd. But this Ishwari insecurities are kinda feeling dragged. Again KRPKAB was more unique bcoz they werent dragging things. Have the CVs forgotten it?
2. Family acceptance romance - Sona's Baba tells Sona ki enjoy this phase of family acceptance romance. Yeh dialogue toh add kar diya. lekin storyline aur episodes mein yeh track add karna bhool gaye kya????
3. Passion & Romance - Have made and read so many posts on thsi in the Forum past few days. But now I feel we should lose hope on it. DevAkshi scenes look more teenage wala romance rather 2 mature adults whose families have just accepted their relationship (atleast thats what the boy's mother portrays it to be). The scene where they were having Coffee looked more like a ShaRica moment rather than DevAkshi. Could see them talking as friends rather than 2 people in love with each other.
The Rose scene was cute but again cute. Didnt see any passion there. Goshhh plzzz bring back the passion from the June episodes. How many more times do we ask for this???????
4. Personality of Characters changing
Neha - Loved her when she was this mooh phat types. She would say what came to her mind. Didnt Neha just get married? But from her behaviour today at Dixit house felt like she's been married for over 5 years. I mean come on, when Sona walks into Dixit house, Neha looked so worried and then her talk with Riya. Like seriously????
Whats it with all the sisters? Neha and Riya are suddenly behaving more mature than their age. Honestly doesnt suit the characters and can't relate to them. Nikki's behaviour has become more kiddish types. Where is the old Nikki gone?
Mamaji - Today's episode a little annoying. Whats it with the ice cream matter????? felt so juvenille. KRPKAB has also been known for some of their best dialogues and who can forget them. CVs, if you made it a point to make Mamaji bring up the ice cream matter (including specific detailing of orange flavor) in yday's episode and then a follow up in today's episode, what happened to Nikki and Riya suppose to be grilling Dev on all details of how he fell in love with Sona? What happened to that? Agar ice cream mein consistency rakhna tha toh iss baat mein bhi rakhte.
Is there a need to change the personality of all characters?
5. Dev - To be honest yes he does look more enthu abt making Sona part of the family. Nothing wrong with that. But let him show some enthu in being more passionate towards his love.
6. Precap - Yet another terrifying precap. But the silver lining I see. Dev might as well realise that his mother is unhappy with Sona (rather any girl) coming into Dev's life. Coz when we dont get to see any passion between DevAkshi, the center focus has become Ishwari's insecurities and CVs seem to be in a hurry (God knows why) then we might as well jump to the Separation phase.
Have the team of Cvs changed? If yes, plz bring back the previous team. Genuinely requesting the makers to get a grip on this show. Seems like they are losing it.
I know its a long rant. But kya kare...cant see this happening to the best TV show I have ever seen. Its still not too late.
