Saath Nibhana Saathiya 9th August 2016 Written Update

The Show takes off with the Modi family discussing the naming ceremony and the names. A hint is dropped by the little twins - I heard it so - as Seeta and Geeta.

Pramila joins in with Krishna, and later brings out bags of Gopi, she says since Gopi has been successful in business, it is time to be successful in her married life too. Kokila says Gopi should do so but after finishing the naming ceremony.

Gopi is distraught at the thought of leaving, Kokila comforts and advises that Gopi has to take care of both the house from the new in law's house. And Kokila says she is certain that Gopi would do it. Urmilaa too endorses Kokila's view, although they - Urmilaa and Kokila - feel the pangs of pain.

In between ; Vidya and Shravan are worried about Priyal. Nayya comes in to drive the wedge between Meera and Vidya deeper. Vidya and Shravan are told to listen to a prerecorded message on the telephone - a male voice, addresses to Meera, that Priyal has not reached the boarding school as informed, and is asked to contact. In the flash back it is shown that the call was indeed from Prakash, as per the planning of his and Nayya's - to create further discord between the sisters.

Later when Meera comes in, Vidya and Shravan confront her. Vidya asks Meera whereabouts of Priyal, Meera defensively answers that she, Priyal, is at boarding school. Again the question and answer is repeated ; Meera is slapped by Vidya.

Vidya makes Meera to listen to the recording. The instigators are happy. After sometime, Vidya confronts Meera again, Meera is bit more aggressively, dares Vidya and Shravan and calls them losers.

Also, Hereabouts ; It Is shown that Priyal is indeed kidnapped by Nayya And Prakash ; the two talk amongst themselves saying that Priyal is indeed with them.

Modi Home :- Jigar sees to the arrangements and appears to be very happy. Kokila and Gopi are also glad to see Jigar filled with happiness.

Jigar requests Gopi to name the girls.

Mona mixes some powder into a glass of juice and asks the helper to serve it to Gopi. Unsuspecting Gopi drinks and then coughs - I suppose that powder makes one lose voice temporarily, although I have never heard of it.

At the hour of naming, Gopi is asked to come forward, Gopi is in fit of coughing, cannot talk or some weird thing happen. Gopi rushes away, signaling that she would be back. Mona is in glee.

Gopi is back with a plateful of red powder - Kum Kum. Gopi engraves Seeta and Geeta on the red plate and hands it over.

Sahir and Sona whisper in each of the little girl's ears.

Gopi looks on happily ! ! 😃 😃

oohh soo Meera is at the receiving end , because of Nayya and Prakash.. hope these 2 are exposed and things are sorted between the sisters !!
