I only watched them today so sharing it here. I am glad they deleted the second scene though. Makes Shashi's character a little less likeable.. with her not-so-subtle homophobic dig.

Seen this before but thanks for sharing again, loved this movie 👍🏼. Really sweet and endearing. One of Sri's best 😊. I have lived in the NY area before and I enjoyed how well the city's spirit and liveliness was captured in this movie as well.

Good judgment of removing the second scene. 👍🏼 It impacts her support towards his homosexuality in the later scenes.

This movie still looks so fresh. Everything was simply perfect. Love the BG score too.

This is how a feel good movie should be.

They should have included 'Papa ko kuchh nahi aata bit'. Goes on show.. how without a lady of the house, it's almost impossible to manage with kids. Very relatable.

That kid is so adorable and he acts super cute too.

While I know it would have been unrealistic a bit, How much I would have loved to see Sri Devi leaving her husband

That would have been typical filmy and melodramatic.

Essence of film was to be equal and get back to rship. She managed to learn English and was on par by end of it all.

This movie achieved the conclusion of their connection so beautifully...

Sri's monologue on how loving oneself is the key to happiness and how he helped her feel good about herself... while seeing this gorgeous, sincere guy tear up was so heartbreaking. 😭

I was simultaneously moved by her inner transformation to a confident woman while feeling sad about the demise of his unrequited infatuation/love. Simply a class scene!

Hats off to Gauri, Sri and Mehdi. ⭐️
