Singhania Mansion -
Sammy dragged himself towards the couch and spread
himself on it.
"Come on Raghav, speak fast."Sammy murmured.
"Um...yeah."Raghav responded and took a deep breath.
He came close to Sammy and gestured him to sit straight.
Sammy pouted and said "What ya Raghav? It's past midnight
and you know I am such a punctual person when it comes to
sleep. But here I am waiting for more than 4 hours for you to
speak! But yes thank god now you are speaking... Phew! "
Even after complaining Sammy sat straight and gestured
Raghav to start.
Raghav nodded and sat down and started with his plan...

It continued on for more than 15 minutes while Sammy kept
listening silently with his mouth agape.
He was shocked, he was absolutely shocked about Raghav's
plan.
"Is he really gonna do this?? Really love drives people
crazy!"Sammy thought.
"So what's my need in it? You have an absolute foolproof
plan...go execute it! Why are you ruining my sleep??"Sammy
said.
"Sleep,sleep,sleep! For God's sake leave that sleep aside for
some time"Raghav threw back.
"Hey! Like you can't leave Kalpana for even one hour, me
and my sleep also have that same serious relationship!
Understand?? "Sammy argued.
Raghav couldn't do anything but just agree to his friend's
words.
"Ok sorry, now listen." Raghav tried calming him down.
Sammy nodded and came closer to Raghav. Raghav too came
forward and whispered something into his ear to which
Sammy responded by keeping a hand on his mouth.
"Will you?" Raghav enquired.
"No, no, no, no not at all!" Sammy exclaimed and started
running towards his room.
But Raghav got him and dragged him into the attic. While
Sammy kept on pleading not to take him there but he did as
he didn't had any other option. And it was the only place
Sammy feared of going since childhood. After reaching the
attic there was a small room in there which had the old
office files.
He shoved Sammy into the room and locked it and even
switched off the lights.
Sammy shrieked and jumped and banged the door asking him
to open the door but he didn't.
"Aayeee Raggghhhavvv!!! Ther..ther..there are lizzzardss to
insssiiddeee! Moreover, you knowww na I amm affraiiddd of
thhee da..da.dar..dark!!???" Sammy shouted.
Raghav was really feeling bad for his behavior but he didn't
had an option and he needed Sammy's help.
"Do you agree with my plan now? If yes, I'll open it right
away." Raghav offered.
"Nooo!! Di..did you hear that??" Sammy shouted this time
with an angry tone.
There was silence from Raghav's side for a few minutes as
he paced back and forth in front of Sammy's temporary
house prison.
"Rag..rag..Raghav!! Listen where are you?? I..i..i..agree!
"Sammy said.
"Really? "
"Ye...ye..yes!!"
Raghav couldn't control his happiness and excitement as he
started dancing and celebrating until Sammy reminded him
he was still inside.
Raghav patted himself at the back of his head and opened
the door.
Sammy was so frightened till now that he came running out
and hugged him tightly.
Raghav chuckled.
It was 1:30 in the morning, and they went to bed at this
time.
Sammy was so scared till now that he didn't agree to sleep
alone in his room instead he accompanied Raghav into his
room and slept throughout by hugging him tightly and
keeping his right leg over him.
Raghav sighed as he was feeling really uncomfortable
sleeping in that position but it was his guilt he was feeling
for Sammy for locking him up in the attic that he allowed
him to sleep like that without uttering a word.
It was morning and after much hesitation Sammy left to do
Raghav's work.
Raghav smiled and sat back on the couch sipping in his
coffee.
The day passed by.

Singhania Chawl-
In the evening at the Jadhav's home, preparations were
going on to meet Kalpi's future husband. No one knew his
name but they were convinced that it was Sammy.
Just then Kamla said to everybody "Oh my God! I forgot to
bring sweets!! I'll just go bring them.. " .
Kalpi nodded but Vitthal interrupted "No, no you wait! I'll
go!".
"No Vitthal you go to bring the glasses from Devana Tai's
home..even so I have to meet Janki Tai to convey something
and her home is just next to the sweet shop."
After clarifying her point she left whereas Vitthal left to
bring the glasses.
On the way, Kamla was pulled into a car and made to smell
the drugged napkins.
She fainted oblivious to her surroundings.
It was over 2 hours now that Kamla was missing and the
Jadhav household was rather worried.
"I know that Kamla is a good friend of Janki Tai but what is
taking her so long? She must be engrossed deeply in her
gossips with her!" Vitthal said.
Kalpi and Pakhya nodded.
Merely about five minutes later, Kalpi's phone rang.
It was an unknown number though she picked it up in case of
any emergency.
"Hello?" Kalpi asked.
"Hello? Kalpi beta..I am sorry that I got late..it was just
that Janki Tai's not well..so I stayed with her. Hope you don't
mind!" Kamla said in a worried tone.
"Oh..ok. But Aai you seem worried.. is there something you
are hiding from me? Do you want me to come over?" Kalpi
asked.
"Oh..no..no..not at all! You are really important in today's
meeting with your future husband. So don't worry..and it's a
yes from my side to the alliance no matter who the boy is.".
The phone hung up before Kalpi could respond. She sighed
thinking maybe Aai's busy.
All this was spoken by Kamla because the kidnapper had
asked her too by keeping a gun point on her temple and
handing her a sheet with the dialogues.
Kalpi came and told about her conversation with Kamla to
Vitthal and Pakhya. They didn't comment just resumed their
work after listening.
Kalpi pouted and left to get ready.
Kalpi got dressed up, she rather seemed divine in her lime
coloured net saree with a low back sky blue coloured blouse.
She had applied minimal makeup as Raghav always had liked.
And wore a pink shimmery lip gloss, which suited her
magically. Her hair was tied up into a messy bun with some
flicks out which were beautifully curled. With some golden
coloured pumps she rose to a great height somewhere equal
to Raghav. These pumps were gifted by Raghav himself.
She was looking godly and deadly at the same time.
Raghav was just gonna go gaga over her charm and beauty
today.
Vitthal and Pakhya were mesmerized by her beauty, they
were left speechless.
"Rajkumari(princess), my Rajkumari(princess) is looking like
a queen today!! Isn't it Pakhya?" Vitthal said out if
happiness.
Kalpi blushed.
"True baba..Kalpi is looking awesome today! " Pakhya replied
back.
"Thank you baba and dada"" before Kalpi could complete her
sentence the door bell rang.
She rushed to open the door only to be stopped by Vitthal
gesturing that he'll open it.
Kalpi nodded and stood there.
Vitthal pulled open the door revealing a handsome, and
muscular man with a wide grin. He was dressed up in simple
light blue jeans with a sky blue blazer and a lime green
pocket square. He was Raghav.
The colours were exactly the same which Kalpi had worn.
He had white flowers in hand for his Kalpi because white
coloured flowers were something Kalpi adored as much as she
adored Raghav. He looked up to pass a glance at his lady love
but when his glance turned into a stare, he didn't knew. He
was mesmerized by the beautiful sight in front of her. He
had seen Kalpi in many beautiful dresses before too but this
was something different, entirely different..the hues she
had chose reflected her beauty more. The net saree made
her beautiful curves more visible. From her heels, to her
saree, to her hair, to her lips..all looked perfect. Those plump
kissable lips were hard to resist but only Raghav knows how
he had controlled his manly hormones at that moment. He
wanted to run up to her, embrace her in a tight hug and kiss
those lips which were constantly seducing him. Kalpi too was
busy staring at Raghav, her love, her man, her everything.
Maybe even the universe wanted them together maybe
that's why they always ended up wearing matching clothes,
which made them look like a couple. Raghav and Kalpi were
brought out of their trance when Vitthal asked him to sit.
While Pakhya searched for Sammy, thinking where he is as
he's the one who's getting married. Kalpi instantly started
feeling shy, feeling a strong gaze by Raghav.
She blushed and turned to go into the kitchen when her low
back blouse revealed her flawless body. Raghav stared with
his mouth agape, it was now getting impossible for him to
control himself. He wanted to touch her, feel her and make
pure love to her.
"Sammy didn't come Raghav baba?"was the first question
asked by Vitthal.
"Hun?um..no. He didn't come he had some urgent work to do.
But why?" Raghav replied.
"Wo..nothing Raghav baba..I was just thinking that how would
we fix the marriage without Sammy?!"Vitthal explained his
concern.
"But why do we need him? When I am here."
"But the marriage would be finalized only when both the
bride and groom say yes na..so just.."
"But Kalpi is here and I am here too. Then what's the
problem? "
"But you are not the one getting married Raghav baba. "
"What do you mean?" Now Raghav stood up.
Kalpi too felt the situation tensing up so she rushed towards
his side.
"Baba, Raghav is saying right..what's the need of Sammy sir
when we both are here? "Kalpi asked politely.
"But you are getting married to Sammy beta, then how can I
talk about the alliance with Raghav baba?"Vitthal said.
Pakhya nodded.
Kalpi and Raghav stood shocked, slowly understanding that
due to the reason that Sammy always was close to Raghav
and they had never taken anyone's name in particular, had
resulted in this unwanted confusion that Kalpi and Sammy
want to get married not Raghav and Kalpi.
After understanding the situation Kalpi and Raghav passed
sorry glances at each other.
Raghav started explaining, "Look uncle, we are sorry to keep
you in this confusion but it's not Sammy and Kalpi but
instead it's me and Kalpi, Raghav and Kalpi. We want to get
married not Sammy and Kalpi..we both love each
other..unconditionally. "
Kalpi nodded and entwined her fingers with Raghav's,
silently telling him that everything's going to be alright.
Raghav shook his head.
Vitthal and Pakhya couldn't believe what they just had
heard.
They exchanged shocked looks.
Raghav was so worried that would happen, will they agree or
not resulted in a flow of tears. Kalpi was too broken from
inside but didn't show it help Raghav keep his calm. But
Raghav couldn't even think of losing her, the very thought
of it shattered him from inside. Kalpi looked at Raghav
shedding tears and made him face her, after cupping his
face she said, "Hey? You always told me na? Not to cry?
Then why are you crying? You forgot that I told you that my
Man never cries! I hate weak men. Okay?".
Raghav wiped away his tears and nodded. He was so
emotional at that time, that he embraced Kalpi in a tight and
possessive hug. Raghav murmured in her ear, "Will you ever
leave me?" Still crying silently. "Un-hun, Never. Don't even
think that."Kalpi promised. Both of them were crying now,
but silently. Raghav was behaving like a kid who didn't ever
want to part away with his soft toy. And Kalpi was playing a
mother's role in calming him down, silently yet effectively.
Raghav and Kalpi now separated out and met Vitthal's eyes.
The serious atmosphere turned into a light one when Vitthal
started laughing.
Kalpi, Raghav and Pakhya looked on clueless.
"Don't stare at me like this, come have some sweets!"
Vitthal exclaimed and forcefully stuffed a sweet into
Raghav's and Kalpi's mouth. He hugged him and said,
"Arrey! Abhi tak nahi samjhe?Mere hone wale Jamai Raja,
hamari beti aapki hui!(Arrey! You didn't understand till
now?My beloved Son-in-law, now my daughter is your
responsibility!)" Vitthal pulled Raghav's cheeks after saying
that. On the other hand, Kalpi and Raghav still couldn't
understand what was happening until Vitthal cleared it out.
"Shaadi pakki! (Marriage is fixed!)." Raghav and Kalpi were
so happy that they hugged Vitthal tightly, thanking him side
by side. Vitthal smiled and kissed both their foreheads and
blessed them when the couple bowed down to touch his feet.
Pakhya too hugged Raghav in joy. Then Vitthal took Kalpi
and Raghav's hand and kept Kalpi's in Raghav's and after
sealing them, said, "Meri Rajkumari toh apna Rajkumar mil
gaya, par Raghav baba meri Kalpi ka dhyaan rakhna..uska
kabhi dil mat"(My princess has found her prince now, but
Raghav baba, always take care of my Kalpi and don't ever
break her heart")"before Vitthal could complete he broke
down into tears. Raghav held Vitthal's hand and said, "Dad,
please don't cry..and don't you trust me that I'll keep ur
Rajkumari (princess) as a queen now, my queen?" Vitthal
nodded and agreed. "Vishwas toh mujhe poora hai aap pe,
par kya karein, ek beti ka baap aisa hi hota hai na?(I have
full faith on you, but what can we do, when every daughter's
father is like that?) Vitthal said. Raghav moved towards
Vitthal and after keeping his hand on Vitthal's he assured
him by saying,"Don't worry Dad..I will never ever leave
her..promise!" He hugged Vitthal and Vitthal returned even
a tighter one. Then Raghav turned to face Kalpi and after
keeping his one hand on her cheek, he said "Congratulations,
Mrs. Soon-to-be-Raghav-Singhania!"
Kalpi pinched Raghav's cheek lovingly and said, "To you to,
Mr. Soon-to-be-Kalpana-Vitthal-Jadhav!" To this both of
them giggled loudly. A happy day for the couple!
