Parivaa says Salaam Smriti and Kiran!

Speaking on Smriti and Kiran, she says, "Whatever acting I know is because of these two. I have worked with Smriti in Virrudh and she used to guide me in my dialogue delivery. She is very down to earth and co-operative. With Kiran, I had done my first serial Saathi Re on Star One. He also acted as my guiding light which is helping me a lot now. It's great that I got an opportunity to work with such seniors at the start of my career."

Tell us something about your role in Salaam Zindagi. "It is the emotional and engaging journey of a young, lively girl Manya who becomes a tough police inspector with tremendous amount of grit and determination. She is faced with seemingly impossible obstacles on her way to fulfilling her grandfather's dream but takes on every challenge thrown at her."

Synopsis

Manya's grandfather, Havaldar Vaidji is a man who has withdrawn from the outside world after the death of his only son Anoop, who was a police inspector. Manya sees a spark in her grandfather's eyes for the fist time in eighteen years when she comes dressed as a police inspector for a college play.

Saalam Zindagi is going on air on December 10.
