Last seen in Smriti Irani's Viruddh, Parivaa will now play the lead in Sony's new cop show, Salaam Zindagi. The actress says she owes a lot to Smriti Irani and Kiran Karmarkar, whom she considers her gurus.
Speaking on Smriti and Kiran, she says, "Whatever acting I know is because of these two. I have worked with Smriti in Virrudh and she used to guide me in my dialogue delivery. She is very down to earth and co-operative. With Kiran, I had done my first serial Saathi Re on Star One. He also acted as my guiding light which is helping me a lot now. It's great that I got an opportunity to work with such seniors at the start of my career."
