Boy stuck between Mom & GF - Precap.

The 2 women looking at the Man and asking him to choose.

Unless he simply buys both - this is so cliched.

The classic tug of war and so blatantly obvious.

The shopping plan itself was for Ishwari to show RR how she is utmost important for her Son. The pride bordering on arrogance silently saying, 'See, I told you so. I still reign'

(Obviously Dev doesn't know...but...)

Ishwari is on the fence and Sonny boy invites GF on this power shopping trip.

Now he has to choose between Mom's & GF's choice.

Sona may not be playing but she is already in the game.

This is power play at its most obvious!

In our society, we tell both our Sons & Daughters that their happiness is ours but we make sure our Daughters also learn sensitivity, the art of adjustment and adopting a new family. After all, they will go into a new household. They might get the world's best MIL but we still teach them so they are prepared for the worst.

Boys are not given this benefit. They learn this the hard way. While daughters move into a new house. Sons bring in a new person in their existing household. Adjustment, sensitivity & understanding is needed both ways.

'My mom loves me. I love You so She will love you.' Acceptance.

If life was Maths, this would be a perfect equation.

But life seems to be Chemistry - Mix the chemicals in the right proportion, at the right time to get the desired solution.

We don't live in a Sooraj Barjatya movie & balance does not come automatically. Or

Do we not teach our Sons balance because then we will have to expose our own vulnerabilities?

Dev: What is this sudden urgency to involve GF in everything?

And going by the segment today.

Ishwari does it the sly way and chooses the family photo without Sonakshi but keeping the slyness aside, I somehow agree with her - Sonakshi is not an outsider but not officially family yet either.

And if including her in the family photo is Dev's way of proposing - I will echo Sona's words - World's most unromantic proposal'.

I still would love to see Dev get the family photo that includes Sonakshi & keep it on his office table but officially putting it up on the home wall - too much too soon.

Yes lets see how cv's play the classic situation into something real. I am hoping this would be the first proper seed for Ishwari to start disliking Sona officially.

Did you see when she was talking to Mami. She half-heartedly said that Sonakshi is loved by her Son and she loves her son, adjustments would be made. She herself is giving the fodder for GKB's taunts to Sona.

Didn't think cv's would start Ishwari's drama yet again so soon.

As usual wonderful post. I really want to appreciate Cv's for their honest efforts to bring back balance in Ishwari's character. They really damaged this character a bit too much in the last week episodes. Now they are trying to show her positive side through mamaji and trying to present her fears & insecurities through mamiji. Good job writers/makers.👏

BUT

This whole week is filled with Ishwari's dramas. From the precap, we also got some idea that they are heading towards next level of Ishwari's dramas. I accept that Ishwari ji's drama is needed to move ahead in the story but i feel they need to balance the episodes with some positive moments also. They should at least have some moments between Dev-sona & his sisters and Dev-sona & Bose family members. I truly feel we(viewers) deserve some light moments in the show now to reduce the heaviness of Ishwari's drama. They truly need to bring balance in their upcoming episodes.

Ishwari is swinging between being happy for her Son & being worried about Dev's love getting divided.
And Dev is rushing head on into making them a happy trio.

Ishwari's thoughts seem more to make herself understand. Like she said, her brain knows but it's not sunk into her heart yet. GKB will pick on this and add fuel to fire.

I feel all mothers feel this at varying degrees... And Sons just move from Confession to 'We are a team' stage missing the steps in between.

She will not start her drama but every time Dev pushes for togetherness, she will consciously/subconsciously push back.

Guess that is the original story but these incidents are too cliched & Dev too eager - first to keep Sona away, now to have her as close as possible in all matters.
That's cause for friction right there...

Dev is really a man of extremes. First, let's hide our love. Now, let's be the three musketeers instantly. I wrote somewhere else that 'relationships are not a switch'... and doesn't it apply to all relationships...?

His Mom just told him she was hurt that he hid this important fact. Now he goes and invites his GF to this shopping trip without telling/asking Mom. He is so communicative with Sona, how does he not pick up these cues from his communication with his Mom?

Now the coming week seems to be filled with a few classic tug of war scenarios. I just feel he himself is causing the train wreck 😊 with his super eagerness.

In all this I really hope there are scenes of the Bose family & Dev. Teasing, being happy and embracing.
Nikki, Riya, Neha's reaction and this has to be a good one.
And above all make Dev & Sona feel the flutter of passion... Now the world knows... Don't they want to know more about each other?

Hope they bring in that balance... 😊

Isn't it? He is always a doer & achiever. Its always either yer or no for him and there is no in between when it comes to his thinking. If you remember his 5hrs wait in coffee shop to convince Sona scene, He said what ever he want to say and asked her to come early tomorrow with out even waiting for her response.

His Mom just told him she was hurt that he hid this important fact. Now he goes and invites his GF to this shopping trip without telling/asking Mom. When it comes to his mom, he is not reading in between lines because he is still in his happy bubble thinking for my mom only my happiness matters.

Ishwari is behaving true to her nature. In the very beginning it was made very clear that she will not tolerate neother women in her son's life. She has totally justified her insecurities saying that he was her only hope after her husband's death. I think she accepted Natasha only bcoz of financial benifits and also it was evident her son was not head over heels for her. His discussions about how indecisive he was for natasha were a solace for her. But now the situation is different, she is faced with a women whom her son loves. So her insecurities coming back was quite expected. Actually to be watched for was how Dev and Sonakshi address her insecurities. The whole story is gaga on mother-son love and understanding. But i actually don find any understanding among them. For mother son was a means to cum out of their bad days, so he was not allowed to live his childhood, think about himself and his desires. On the other hand son doesnt even knows how insecure his mother is and how approches any situation.Poor Sonakshi, she will have to bear the brunt of this fake self glorified mother son relationship.
As far as tomorrow's precap, its sonakshi who wld probably behave as a saviour , she wld some how tel dev, he shld choose the things chosen by Ishwari

1970's movies in full form... 😊

Dev is completely lost in the relationship department. He says what he thinks/feels (when he knows what he feels) and absolutely cannot read expressions/emotions. Definitely cannot read between the lines. Things have to be spelt out.

Very true to character...
He's in a happy bubble and rushing into what he feels should happen... everyone will try to catch up but all this will end in a train wreck... 😊

Sonakshi has a lot of work to do here... 😊

Very well said 👏
Obviosuly Ishwari brought this topic to prove to RR that she is the topmost priority in Dev's life. RR's further instigation will lead Ishwari to do more of such things RR ko ban karo plz 🤢

I still hope Dev chooses both of the options. Are itna bada ghar hai, itne saare rooms hai, toh kya ek hi bedsheet loge. Choose both, Mom happy, girlfriend happy, fans happy 😆
