well, she did try her insulting skills on Ranveer's family but was firmly shut up by mama & Ishwari.
Am not so sure about the shutting up this time...actually, am not even excited to see it anymore. It's just too obvious.

@Bold in green: These scenes are taking up more n more screen space. Probably would mean ignoring the whole episode.
Your fictional scenarios are far more entertaining anyways 😃

Are the makers under pressure to do something to increase TRPs? They can't just have lost their mojo after the 100 episode celebration!

@ Malvika and ARCH

Girl and girl family humiliation scenes are topmost on my hate list. I was thankful to this show for sparing me such horrors till date. Looks like i rejoiced too soon. In KRPRAB V2.0, all the usual soap opera gimmicks will make an appearance...

Even if this scene was introduced to give Bose family a reason to question Dev about his family's ability to respect their daughter, it is a needlessly heavy handed approach. Parasitic mamiji with a worthless son of all people has no basis to insult a doc and her family. In the first place Bose family visiting without informing is cringe worthy. Yes, Dev did visit Ranveer w/o informing but that was just 1 person and not the whole platoon! Anyway I will stop trying to jump to conclusions w/o viewing the episode but recent episodes have depleted my trust quota..

Yeah, I just saw the segment, and RR's stupid taunts have started in full swing. Even I am not excited to see these kind of scenes now. It just seems so unlike KRPKAB to take this approach, only for TRP.s If they don't give us 2 proper Devakshi scenes per episode I will again start cribbing, or better yet, not watch.

Thank you! Glad to know you like them😃

Same. I hate it when the Bose family are not taken seriously by all the Dixits. I don't know how Ishwari is gonna react to RR's taunts, going by her recent behaviour, I am not very hopeful.

You're right. The entire Bose family arriving without warning is disturbing and so unlike them. They were supposed to be the mature ones! Dev visiting Ranveer's family w/o informing was something so typical of Dev, that I ignored it. But I never thought the Boses would do something like that. Anyway, I think I should reserve judgement till the episode is aired.

I most definitely like them 😊
Sorry didn't read Part 2 yet. Will read and respond...

Coming to Devakshi, the 2 scenes per episode are turning into Sharica scenes. Am not sure I want to watch 2 kids playing and having fun. At this stage in their relationship, where is the romance?
Can someone remind the makers that these 2 are supposed to be in love and it's first love that they have found recently...not been in a relationship for years!

Ladies, you are both so right.
Didn't think that KRPKAB V2.0 will arrive at our doorstep so soon. This is so disappointing.
and its not even that there is a solid base for mother's insecurities and issues. This just simply looks like Dev, who is living in a super happy bubble, is just blind to everything else. This flight will crash land for all obvious reasons.

They have already moved way beyond the launch promos.
Mom wasn't supposed to know. Dev was supposed to sense mother's discomfort and decide to step back. Sona offering to help but not pushing. The angst.
Now mommy knows, is making an effort to be ok with Sona. I think going by the fact that no one and absolutely no one comes between this mom-Son shopping time but today she readily includes Sona, is a massive effort on her part...
Dev is simply being a bull in a china shop... Does falling in love turn your character around 360 degrees????

Bose family - Seriously! They just give a surprise visit to Dev's house. Everyone together!
I thought the Boses had more basic courtesy than this!
They get insulted & Sona goes home and screams at them!

What am I watching again!
I should give them the benefit of doubt until I watch the episode but after watching today's, I feel they have stepped in their V2.0 fair & square!

They have already used up more than 100 episodes showcasing the characters of the story, the meeting of Dev and Sonakshi, their falling in love, confession to Ishwari etc. But they still have a long way to go where Dev needs to realize Ishwari's insecurities, separate from Sona, Ishwari's realization, patch up. They also have to complete the side stories of GKB, Vicky, Khatri, Neha - Ranveer, Natasha and Neil in the remaining time.

Hence they are now trying to cram everything as fast as possible. They are adding too much drama/masala for us which is hard for us to digest. Our expectations from this show is different based on the first 100 episodes

Too much ranting. 😛 😛

In fact our expectations have been based on their promise. They delivered on it for the 100 or so eps and after which either they are under pressure to secure more TRPs or like you say, they have used up a lot of their episode quota.

They didn't even have time for a good reaction from the sisters. Maybe tomm. but maybe that's just me hoping as tomm will probably be dedicated to photo drama... ! 😊

Too much too soon does more harm than good !
I am married to a person whose world revolved around his mom. His mom was not as possessive as Ish , but I could see the hurt in her eyes when slowly his priorities changed and he built a small nest around me and him. Life is all ok now for these reasons:
1. He was never a love sick puppy. He is still an angry young man to the world but an extremely lovable son and a husband; his characteristics didnt change with my entry into his life.
2. I never ever forced myself on her... I gave her all the time in the world to accept me in her and his life... She appreciated that space and accepted me wholeheartedly.
3. We plan events with our respective mothers so that we get to be just the daughter and son for some time in a month and that maintains the secure feeling in both of our moms.

Ofc he learnt a few things the hard way but I was strong enough to convince him to balance and never bring my selfish love or possessiveness between him and his mom and my MIL also put in an earnest effort to accept the change and now am part of her world !

What changed? Now he sees her with open eyes; he sees the right and wrong without covering it up with a empathetic maa sentiment and thats the only change I ever expected from him.. Love your mother but not blind folded

Ish is lot more vulnerable than the usual maas and saas' and pouncing on her with new relationships will harm her and her relationships with everyone else.

More than anything, hero changing from angry young man to a college going lover is 'been there done that' thingy !

Ah! That is a beautiful journey you have had. Thank you for sharing and may I add that's exactly what I would have loved to see in the show - real, sensitive, mature love.

The stage in the show now just seems like love completely changed the Man and made him blind to even basic sensitivities... Way too extreme & way too soon!
If these 2 are shown to separate now, what will be the reason & will we feel for them then?
If Dev causes a train wreck & then backs out of his relationship; that's just an immature person not knowing how to manage life - Dev definitely is not this!

The makers in their rush to enter the main plot seem to ignoring some very basic facts here...
Insecurities caused by rash action can't be the life issue they want to showcase!.

Its the supply vs demand theory. Most people watching this show are fans of Erica and Shaheer, a little more than DEVAKSHI as well. It doesnt have great TRPs so making Ish the center of the story wont help them anyway, so some romance of the couple, followed by their separation, with blame on the Mom - thats a hit formula for the online audience but alas its so so far from reality !
