Can money buy happiness? - Page 4

Today I got a poem in facebook in Tamil which I translate to English:

Some persons lose their compassion for money;
Some persons lose their goodness for money;
Some persons lose their friends for money;
Some persons lose their relations for money;
Some persons lose their chastity for money;
Some persons lose their modesty for money;
Some persons lose their path for money;
Some persons lose their human nature for money;
Some persons lose their youth for money;
Some persons lose their life for money;

All these points I said are true. This is the reason, we are given the statement 'Money can't buy happiness'. Just because all these points are true, it does not mean money is bad. But humans go through wrong paths for getting money in one way or the other and so we are forced to believe money is bad. Definitely to become rich is a virtue and as it is a virtue it has to be done in an honest way.

Money is important, no doubt. But I am of the firm opinion that money can give only temporary happiness. If we lose all our values over money, then what is the point? Money does give us happiness, no doubt, but I think that the values that we have, and the way we channel them into something constructive is what will give us comfort and satisfaction.

Money can buy happiness but wait what about MAA, that changes my thought process and I back track no money cannot buy happiness but if you have MAA then you are the happiest person in life. Bolo tumhare pass kya hai? MAA hai ? 😆 😆 😆
