Next morning at breakfast table

Vasu- so Viraj Nisha how was your lunch yesterday, i suggest you both should spend more time with each other.

Nisha was looking at Viraj to say something, but he was eating the breakfast as if no one talked about him. Kabir was intently looking at Nisha and Viraj, he could sense that the meeting was not good at all and he was silently thanking god for it.

Nisha- no aunty i don't think it's a good idea. One meet was enough for us to know that we don't suit each other a bit.

Vasu - really, Viraj do you too feel the same.

Viraj - mom you wanted me to see Ms. Nisha which i did but please get it that i am not going to marry her. Saying so he got up from his seat but was stopped by his mom

Vasu- i hope you are not still in love with that waitress, are you??

Viraj- mom not everyone is born lucky like us and please stop insulting her because of her profession.

Before vasu could say anything Viraj walked away.

Here Nisha was surprised seeing Viraj answering back to his mother while kabir continued looking at her mother, who turned to him

Vasu - kabir Reyanu called today, she was happy knowing that you are here, why don't you go and meet her.

Kabir (excited)- really mom Reyanu came back. That's great i will call her right away. Can i borrow your phone mom i don't have her number?

Vasu- ya sure but take her number don't call her from my phone. You both talk for hours and i will get late.

Nodding kabir took the number and went to his room to talk to Reyanu privately.

Nisha was totally confused at first by Viraj's behaviour and now at kabir's. She has not seen kabir this excited ever. She could not control the feeling of jealously which took over her because of kabir and Reyanu's closeness.

Everyone had gone to office and kabir was buy talking to Reyanu since half an hour, and had also shut his door from inside and Nisha was fuming with jealously in her room

Nisha- Why the hell am i feeling so bad seeing him give more importance to someone else. That idiot had a girlfriend all this while and did not tell me. And now is busy chatting with her, has totally forgotten about me, and the endearments baby, princess...ugh...but why am i feeling so low? When did his attention become so important to me? Do hell with his attention, when did he become so important to me?

Nisha was busy in her thoughts when her phone rang and she picked it up without seeing the caller id.

"How is my daughter doing" spoke ramesh through the phone

"thinking about the idiot kabir" answered Nisha absent minded

"what? My daughter thinking about someone who is he?" that was what which brought Nisha to reality

"i thinking about someone no no, who told who so?" acted Nisha

"stop acting nishu, i am your father. Now speak up."

"he is Viraj's brother, the guy who accompanied me in the train. Firstly he was a friend but now i just can't stop thinking about him. He is affecting me a lot and today only i realised that he was girlfriend all along and i am feeling very low papa, i am feeling empty, i don't know, pata nhi kab kaise but jab aaj woh mujhse baat karne ke wajah uski girlfriend se chipka hua hai mujhse bilkul.. accha nhi lag raha." Sobbed Nisha

"hmm seems someone finally found her love am i right"

"but what's the use he is already with someone"

"tu sure hai ki woh uski girlfriend hai matlab kya pata woh koi aur ho and tu galat samaj rhi hai."

"pata nhi papa"

"Nisha firstly stop crying, you are my strong kind who doesn't cry ok, and now stop coming into conclusions, ek baar uss se puch le samjhi"

"hmm"

"chal abb mein rakhta hun. Take care"

After talking to ramesh, nisha decided to first confirm from kabir and then come to conclusions. She went to the washroom and washed her face thoroughly and sat on her bed playing on her phone.

After sometime she heard a knock on her door and kabir came in.

"Nisha get ready we are going somewhere?"

"i am not interested, why don't you take Reyanu with you"

"arre ussi se toh milne jaa rahe hain"

"i don't want to come"

"arre Nisha you will love her. You know she is so nice, so sweet that any one will love her"

Nisha could see the emotions in kabir's eyes as he spoke about Reyanu.

"do you love her?" Nisha asked the question she was dreading to ask.

"yes i do love her, i love her so much... Nisha turned her face away hearing those words and was about to speak when kabir continued

...after all, she is my one and only niece who i love a lot."

Nisha was shocked and happy.

"she is your niece"

Kabir nodded. "oh thank god" Nisha breathed

"what" kabir questioned confused. Finally when he could sense everything he teased her "was someone jealous"

"no why would i be?"

"when did i take your name? Haan"

"woh woh..." shuttered Nisha

"ahh chor ki dhadi mein tinka"

"aisa kuch nhi hai"

"toh kaisa hai"

"woh tu uss se baat karne mein into busy tha toh shayad thoda sa"

Kabir smiled at her "chal abb toh ready ho jaa"

"haan mein await hun"

Kabir went out of her room, while Nisha smacked her head for thinking all absurd thinks and giggled at her behaviour, when kabir his head in the room and stated to Nisha "i am completely single, had no girlfriends in the past nor in the present but would like to make one in the future who will be a permanent one throughout the life not transitory."

Nisha was speechless at his statement while he beamed at her and closed the door.

In the car ride Nisha got to know that Reyanu was kabir's cousin sister Anuradha's daughter and the very first kid whom he had ever taken in his arms and played with and that's the reason she is special and closest to him from his family. They shifted to the USA when Reyanu was 4 years old and after that kabir too went to jaipur and it was the first time he was talking to her and her sister after so many years so needed a little privacy.

Nisha nodded her head smiling embarrassingly for her outburst on kabir.
