So SLB is still finding a husband for DP in Padmavati and she doesn't wants any tv star or less famos actor. I think SLB should take Abhishek Bachchan. He has not done any good roles since a long time. He acts good not that he can't pull off the role. He has a grt personality. He will have an amazing chemistry with DP. Also I don't feel the role is any less. Maybe screenspace will be less but what is he anyway doing in craps like Houseful 3. Also I feel the role is no less I mean many people are saying that Ratan Singh was not brave. But I don't think that he was not brave If he was a coward then he would have handed his wife to khilji but he fought for her inspite of knowing he doesn't have the resources to fight and win. He was very brave was there for his wife till end. He was a brave character who didn't licked ass of an outsider like many other kings were doing just to save lives. So it is kind of impo supporting role. I wanted Shahid for the role but I think he is not there DP and he would also be good. But maybe Shahid won't sign the movie bcoz it could turn his role like Sunny's in Darr SRK became hero n Sunny totally ignored. But ABjr can also pull of it Plus he and DP have chemistry
