Salman Khan to replace Saif Ali Khan as baddie in Race 3'?

Salman Khan is on an-all time career high after delivering his 10th Rs 100-crore film - Sultan'. The star, who is currently shooting for the hit reality show Bigg Boss 10', will soon head to Ladakh to begin shooting for Kabir Khan's war drama Tubelight'. But what after that? Reports state that the actor will replace Saif Ali Khan in Race 3'. Salman has allegedly read the script and is keen on signing the project on the dotted line sooner than expected. If rumours are to be believed then the star will hop on board within the next few days. We know that Sallu will star in brother Arbaaz Khan's Dabangg 3' which goes on floors mid-2017. If the actor does sign on Race 3', it will be refreshing to see him crank up the engines and play the bad guy after depicting a string of simple and loveable characters in films like Bajrangi Bhaijaan', Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' and Sultan'.

Might as well rename the film something else. Race was synonymous with Saif's character in the film.

Bollywood always does that. Takes a successful franchise, changes everything up about it, and calls it a sequel

Race was the only franchise which could give a hit movie status to Saif, sad if he lost that as well.

The movies become hits, but I don't even enjoy those films. I think Abbas Mustan are long past their prime.

As for Saif, I'm glad he's finally stopped chasing hits and is doing projects he believes in.

Rangoon, Akshat Verma's comedy, and Chef Remake with the Airlift Director sound promising.

I was watching the original Chef the other day and really liked it. It has promise

^^ I had liked Race 1st part very much. 2nd was ok.

Future releases look promising but the past few have been bad choices by Saif.

Chef is a really good movie and hope they make it well in BW too.

Saif was never baddie.. it was akshaye khanna in race and john abraham in race 2... bakwaas article

As far as I know, Sallu would never do a full on "negative" roll...so that part is incorrect, otherwise this will be interesting. If the script wasn't amazing I doubt Salman would have signed it but its going to be interesting seeing how they keep this franchise interesting...for a lack of better term.
