Part 9

Next day in college, Asad n Zoya's group were sitting in d canteen.

"I hate dat kameeni librarian," said Zoya.

"Is ur body still paining?" asked Sameera.

"Yes," replied Zoya, "Hope I don't get dis punishment again due to Asad."

"So wat we will get punishment?" asked Asad wid an amusing smile, "We will contribute to Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan wid all d cleaning."

"Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan? Really? If u care so much abt contributing to Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan u sud help d peons in cleaning d college after college hours but keep me out of dis. I don't want my body to pain again," replied Zoya wid a sarcastic smile.

"Wat?" asked Asad embarrassingly.

"Why? U want to contribute to Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan na?" asked Zoya wid a smile.

Asad did not wat to say. He smiled inwardly at her wittiness.

Just then someone came n announced dat Princi called only d juniors to d assembly hall. Every juniors left for d Assembly Hall. D Princi Mr. Sharma welcome all d new students of Imperial College. D principal Anand Sharma was a man in his early 40s.

"Students, I called u all here to say dat 2mrw u all have to call ur parents. Since u all r new students I want to have some discussions wid them," said Mr. Sharma.

Zoya was shocked at d announcement.

"How can I call my parents in d college? Everyone come to know abt who I am. I need to think sumthn," thinks Zoya.

Scene shifts to Asad walking in d corridor. As he was walking, he saw Sexy Babes cumn in front of him. Sexy Babes were a trio of rich, spoilt-brat, snob girls Tanveer, Nida n Afreen. They wud insult people especially girls who r not rich. They also wud try to get attention of good looking rich guys. Most of d times d trio wud wear same clothes or similar kind of clothes. Asad was abt to hide but unfortunately they saw them.

"Hi handsome," said Tanveer wid a smile.

Asad walked past them but they came in his way wid d trio saying, "Hi handsome."

"Why u all r saying Hi handsome Hi handsome to me?" asked Asad amusingly, "Main Fair & Handsome nahi lagaata hu."

"Oh nice joke, Asad baby," said Tanveer fluttering her eyelashes.

"I am serious & I am not a baby," said Asad firmly n walked past them.

"Here comes Zoya, one of d poor girl in college," said Tanveer.

Asad stopped hearing Zoya's name n hid to listen to them.

"Yaa, she came here for free thru scholarship," said Nida.

"Luk at her dress. It luk so branded but I am sure its low standard," said Afreen.

Sexy Babes were wearing same kind clothes which were blue top n white mini-skirt while Zoya was wearing a short green dress.

"Luk at our clothes which r really branded unlike urs," said Tanveer.

"Talking abt low standard or branded, I don't think there r any differences between standard label clothes or branded label clothes. If u remove d brand label n replace it wid standard label then d value of dat cloth will not be high anymore but will bcum less like standard label clothes," said Zoya recalling how she changes d label of her clothes.

Sexy Babes were wid her statement. Asad was smiling 4m behind d wall. He liked how she shocked those bimbo girls not knowing dat her same statement will create doubts in him one day n dat day he may not smile at Zoya like he is smiling now at her.

"Wat do u mean?" asked Afreen shockingly.

"Can't u understand english? Hindi me samjhau kya?" asked Zoya.

"Listen, u r talking to Sexy Babes," said Tanveer.

"Sexy Babes," said Zoya wid a laugh, "I get it wat Sexy Babes means. Babe means d pig 4m english movie Babe. So u mean to say 3 of u r Sexy Pigs. Right?"

D trio's jaw-dropped in shocked. They left 4m there in embarrassment.

"Sexy Babes uh," said Zoya rolling her eyes.

Asad was controlling his laugh 4m d behind d wall. He was impressed wid how she dealt wid those Sexy Pigs ooops Sexy Babes. He left 4m there.

In d evening, Zoya meets a couple 4m d drama company Shishupal n Rosy n gives them some money to act as her parents. They wore Gujrati kind of clothes. Shishupal wore kurta-pyjama wid jacket while Rosy wore a bright-coloured saree.

"Baaki paise kaam k baad. U both will be Anwar Farooqui n Zeenat Farooqui," said Zoya.

She uses her parents names only but many couple can have same names so she did not felt it necessary to use fake names for her parents. She told everyone dat her father is a clerk in government office while her mother is a housewife.

"Okay madam," said Shishupal.

"Don't do any overacting 2mrw," said Zoya.

"Okay madam," said Rosy.

"Do wear d kind of clothes I told u," said Zoya.

"Sure," said Shishupal-Rosy 2gthr.

Next day, all d parents of d students were going in d Princi's cabin at random times(like wen parents come at random time for admissions instead of all d parents at d same time). Shishupal n Rosy were going to d Princi's room wid Zoya. Shishupal was wearing a formal shirt n pant while Rosy was wearing a churidar dress. Asad, Rashid n Dilshad just came out of d Princi's room. Both Asad n Zoya along wid their parents did not saw each other as they were busy talking among themselves but just passed by each other.

"My we come in, Sir?" asked Zoya at d door.

"Yes, come in," replied Mr. Sharma.

Zoya, Shishupal n Rosy came inside.

"Good morning, Sir," said Shishupal.

"Good morning," said Mr. Sharma, "U all plz be seated."

Zoya sat between Shishupal n Rosy wid her cell on her hidden 4m Mr. Sharma.

"Ur daughter is one of d toppers who topped their colleges. Its so nice to see such an intelligent student in dis college," said Mr. Sharma.

"Our daughter is intelligent 4m d time she was small. She always topped her class. Its all due to her hard work," said Rosy.

"Dats very nice of her," said Mr. Sharma.

"Sumtyms she even forgets to eat or drink as she studies so hard," said Shishupal.

Zoya wrote in d notepad of her cell, "Jyaada overacting mat kar."

She showed it to Shishupal who nodded.

"I mean she forgets to eat or drink but we make sure she takes care of her eating so dat she does not gets weak," said Shishupal.

"If she gets weak then she will not be able to concentrate on her studies na," said Rosy.

"U r doing very wll. Keep it up," wrote Zoya in her notepad n showed it to Shishupal n Rosy who smiled at her.

Mr. Sharma then had some discussion related to studies n other things. Fortunately for Zoya, both were acting so well widout overacting again.

"Nice meeting both of u," said Mr. Sharma wid a smile.

Shishupal n Rosy smiled back at them before leaving d office wid Zoya.

Zoya brought Shishupal n Rosy to one of d staircase.

"Ye lo baaki k paise," said Zoya.

"How was our acting?" asked Rosy excitedly.

Asad came some distance away near dat staircase n saw Zoya giving some money to her parents smiling at them. Don't know why but he felt sumthn weird.

"Good job," said Zoya wid a smile making them happy.

After d couple left, Asad came to her shocking her.

"U were giving money to ur parents n teln them good job," said Asad.

"Glad dat he did not heard everything," thinks Zoya.

"I was giving my parents some of my salary cuz they urgently needed money. They were asking abt my job so I said it's a good job," lied Zoya.

"Oh," said Asad.

"Tum mujse poochh kyu rahe the?" asked Zoya.

"Aise hi," replied Asad n left 4m there.

"I hope dis situation of calling parents does not repeats," said Zoya, "If Asad had heard all our talks then he wud have come to know dat they r not my parents."

One month has passed since d college started. Asad n Zoya's group bonding became stronger but Zoya has still not befriend Asad n his rich friends but she wud talk nicely wid them even though she wud bicker wid Asad sumtyms. Sumtyms, she make sud taunt Asad n his friends wid her comments using their rich status which wud hurt them but they wud not fight wid her as they found her a nice girl & a good friend.

One evening, Asad was going somewhere on his bike wen he saw Zoya going inside a bar. He was shocked as Zoya does not drinks. May be she is in trouble. He decided to go inside.

"For d 1st time, I am entering a bar cuz of dis girl," said Asad n parked his bike.

He went inside n was shocked to see Zoya drinking a glass of wine wid a bottle near her glass. He came n sat before her. Zoya was shocked on seeing him.

"Wat u r doing?" asked Zoya.

"I thought dat u don't drink," said Asad ignoring her question.

"2day is 10th July which is my so-called 1st anniversary wid Murtaza wid whom I broke up 6 months ago. Aaj hi k din ek saal pehle hum couple bane the. So I am drinking in my sorrow," said Zoya wid a smile as she finished her glass.

"Zoya, its not right. U only said dat u don't drink but now u r drinking for some loser who don't deserve u," said Asad.

"Drinking is not a big deal for rich people like u," said Zoya wid a laugh.

She was abt to pour another glass but Asad stopped her by catching her hand.

"Zoya, plz stop. U can't get drunk n go to ur suite like dis. As for me, I never even entered a bar till I saw u & came inside. I thought u may be in some trouble but wen I came here I instead saw u drinking. Its not necessary dat all rich people drink or smokes. I & my family never do dat. Zoya, leave dis n lets go," said Asad in a calm tone.

"Okay," said Zoya.

Zoya did not know why but sumthn in Asad's talks made her listen to him.

"I hope u r not drunk," said Asad.

"Come on, I only had 1 glass cuz u stopped me," said Zoya.

"Thank God," said Asad.

"Luks like dis is not d 1st time she drank as she is fine after 1 glass," thinks Asad.

They left d bar.

"Asad, I am sorry dat u had to come here cuz of me," apologized Zoya.

"Its okay, Zoya. I really thought u were in trouble," said Asad.

Zoya was genuinely guilty for causing Asad to enter d bar wen he never did before. Like Asad's family, Zoya n her family also did not drink. But now after leaving home, she drinks n smokes sumtyms wen she is upset thinking abt her pasts. Zoya got on her scooty.

"Bye," said Asad.

"Bye," said Zoya n rode away 4m there.

"Glad I went inside d bar n stopped her otherwise who knows she wud have got drunk in sorrow as she really lukd very sad n upset," said Asad n got on his bike.

Scene shifts to ZoHu's suite room. Zoya was alone in d room as Humeira was at d candy counter. She was sitting on d bed thinking abt her meeting wid Asad n their talks.

"Asad n his friends really r so nice people. Asad even entered d bar where he never entered thinking dat I was in trouble. I am rude to him n his friends many times but they never say anything bad to me. I think I am judging them widout any reason. Its not necessary all rich people can be like Haider, Murtaza, mom, Imraan or Sexy Babes. I am also rich but I am not like them," said Zoya thoughtfully.

"I sud stop being rude to Asad n his friends," said Zoya.

#For a group project Asad-Zoya, Ayaan-Humeira n Karan-Ria r paired 2gthr for a couple people project. Asad n Zoya have no problems in being each other's partners but they r shocked as they may fight wid each other even during their project.

#Asad n Zoya r doing sketching n colouring designs as part of their project.

"Wow Zoya, ur ideas r so awesome regarding clothes designs as if some designer is making these designs," said Asad wid a smile impressed wid her designs.

"How sud I say to him dat I was a part-time model who wud be always surrounded by famous designers," thinks Zoya.

"Woh Actually, I researched a lot on d designs n observed many designers n their works on internet cuz I always wanted to be a fashion designer," said Zoya wid a smile.

A/N: Tanveer, Nida and Afreen are recurring and extra characters with no importance and only meant to be bimbos of college like many shows or movies. We already have Imraan as a villain and also Murtaza in future so we don't need more villains. Yes, Zoya will befriend Asad and his friends in the next part but still lying to everyone about herself.
