Did Aishwarya-Ranbir's intimate scenes in ADHM irk Bachchan family?

Celebrated Bollywood actors Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan are apparently miffed with their daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for shooting intimate scenes with Ranbir Kapoor in "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil."

The senior Bachchans have asked filmmaker Karan Johar to chop the intimate scenes, according to a Deccan Chronicle report. However, the report added that a source close to the family denied the buzz, saying, "They are a family of professional actors and very conscious of their responsibility towards the reputation of the family. No one needs to intervene in Aishwarya's professional commitments. She knows what to do."

It was earlier reported that Aishwarya and Ranbir were supposed to have a lip-lock in the film but the actress had expressed her discomfort in doing the scene. Hence, KJo agreed to shoot a fake kiss between the two stars.

Aishwarya and Ranbir are playing a couple, with the man being younger than the woman. While this is the first time that Ranbir and Aishwarya will share screen space, "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" also features Anushka Sharma and Fawad Khan. Anushka and Fawad will reportedly play another couple.

Shah Rukh Khan's wife Gauri Khan had some time back shared a photo of her and Karan together and mentioned in the caption that she had watched the teaser of "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil." She said that she found the teaser "impressive." While the makers of the film are likely to release the teaser and trailer soon, "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" will hit the screens on Oct. 28 this year.
