Anyways back on the episode. What a disappointment yet again. They really need to consider some better cinematographers and editors for their show as this particular bunch comes up with stupidity of the best sort. The opening sequence's editing was so blotched up and the presentation was so meh that I don't think I'd be able to let it out of my system so easily. I mean what the heck was that?
And Oberois please fire your security team! You don't have to worry about any external threats as long as such a lousy bunch is with you. They will kill you with your stupidity sooner or later. And what was that? The bullet took forever to reach Rudra, playing with physics again are we? Okay now I understand why did he faint...bechara sharam se behosh ho gaya tha kii aise lagi mujhe goli?𤣠Damn they need to take science classes to come up with better and logical explanations than this one. The only thing good out it all was Shivaay's reaction. He didn't fail to play the avenging superhero for Rudra and that made me mellow somehow.
Shivaay is a layered character, it would be a treat to see all his strengths and facets stripped down and his vulnerable side exposed for the world to take on. We know that his biggest weakness is his brothers. We know that he wants his family to be protected and we know he can go to length to safeguard the interest of those he loves. But that is not his vulnerable core. He is strengthened because his brothers are standing together and tall in front of all grave situations that have landed so far. A chink in that armor coupled with life-threatening situation on their part and Shivaay will break down. He might have a strong immune but then again he is not invincible to the veritable forces of enemies who are looking to breach the wall now. He cares and that is his burden and that he has been doing so for long his Achilles' heel.
He is the spine of the Oberoi Empire, both on the personal and professional front. He has held the helm of things for so long that people expect him to set things right even when they are practically impossible. He has always been the responsible on and now people don't hesitate to dump chunks of that onto his head. Om had been looking for an escape all those years and is still looking for the same. Rudra so far hasn't taken up anything major for people to cast him in a role that Shivaay is playing. So far none of the brothers are qualified enough to shoulder the burden of keeping everything together...making it even more difficult for Shivaay. Om can either make it or break it under pressure. That catch 22 situation will always be omnipresent with him; Rudra on the other hand seems to be hiding under a mask of indifference. When and how that mask slips is something that we need to watch out for but at the moment he is not ready to take up the challenge and win it all. So Shivaay it is who has to stand first in the line of fire. And this is what makes situation terse.
The other character that arrested my undivided attention was Tej. He is cleverly crafted and densely layered character and no amount of peeling him will help us reach his encore easily. He is both caustic and caring and such polar opposites in one personality, with such degrees of extremes is difficult to find. Shivaay is one example but he is no match for the man that Tej Singh Oberoi is. The situation with Gayatri didn't agitate him at all, he showed that he was disturbed but it didn't feel as though he was. And this is enough to tell one and all that he has a plan up his sleeve. There are some strong and vile undercurrents running deep in him and the outcome of it won't be pleasant at all! He shouted at Svetlana for not be able to stop the flow of Ashok's suicide news but then again he wasn't worked up at all. It is as though he is expecting things to turn up this way, as though situation is playing out as per his plan. I don't know why but it feels as he is using Gayatri as a ruse for something more diabolical in nature. We've got to wait and watch on this front.
The other thing worth mentioning is Tej appreciates Shivaay and his contribution along with his level head judgment as far as his family is concerned; but he is not ready for him to step up and take his place, The cool statement of his when he says "jinn bhaiyon kii tum baat kar rahe ho ho vo mere bete bhi hain" was enough to suggest that he likes it that Shivaay plays and behaves the part of Tej in everyone's life: but in the end he is not Tej and this man would never allow Shivaay to be so. That cold taunt and the look on his face was something not to be missed out at all. Yes, he appreciates his wunderkind of a nephew but appreciation and unadulterated love are two very different thing. One cannot substitute for the other. It would be smart on Shivaay's part if he is able to see this through quickly. His uncle is not his hero...he is a player whose true allegiance is hidden so far and that is what makes him dangerous. Mahesh Thakur felt sinister in that scene and I am vouching for Tej to come with his trump card soon.
Anika, Ishana and Riddhima could have been avoided completely. This episode was supposed to belong to ObBros and not the women in general; although I loved the nerdy look of Ishana. And man what bag did they make Jhanvi wear? Don't tell me you people screwed up her stylist and she in anger dressed Jhanvi so!đ¤˘
Rudra and his antics were fun to watch but I am left hanging for I had wanted to see an emotional ObBros scene. Serves me right for having my expectations so high.

I'd like to see more of Svetlana please. I like it when evil is not justified and isn't hidden behind a mask of something good. She is black and she isn't afraid to show that face to the world. Work on her more, she is the one who will do the honors of burning down the Oberoi Lanka.đ
Om's story is completely butchered. All my hopes now have been swaaha!đ
