I loved the episode. It was a well rounded episode.

Or maybe because he saw his mother and brother's pain when his dad left and given how fiercely protective he is of them, he lashes out at the mere mention of his father's name.

Or could it be that the father left after Rohan was born? Maybe he couldn't handle how Rohan was different?

The storyline does seem to mention that Abhi has been shouldering responsibiity for many years now...I wonder how many years exactly...

Sweet Episode , much dwelling into Rohan's Character..

His instant hate on mentioning his Dad was Interesting . Given his Age and Condition , his does understand the repercussions that were caused because of his Father esp on his Bade Bhaiyya...

The night scene ...Rohan cuddling upto Abhi was so heart warming ...

Liking how they are representing each episode and slowly peeling up layers of each Character ... like though there was much focus on Rohan ...there was more peak into other family characters Mannerisms...
Body Builder chachu pastering his son to do push-ups and he just not interested .. Pant kids love each other a lot unlike elders..
even the scene where Rohan was making everyone put on that Hat ...aww...Avni was like Rukh pehenti hoon ...khush ?? and that Hug ..so sibling like...Mega AWWW to that ...
Pant familiy reminds me of those Old movie Khoosurat Khatta Meetha families ...ek se ek Namoone...😆

Abhi saying "Kabhi dusro ko khush bhi karna chahiye" ...just last night Meera told Abhi ke pehle khud khush rehna seekho , phir dusro ko khush rakh paoge...hmmm seems Abhi has long way to go before he learns that ... :)) . I guess there is a guilt of his Father Abandonment may be that's why Abhi is more focsussed on keeping Family Happy first ...

Word about the Location adding beauty to the show , It's like the Location itself is a character adding more authenticity to the Show's Realness...

The House stay decore reminds me of Grandmama's cafe (restrau in mumbai )interior or like a Parsi house ...so cozy and so easy on eyes..

abd they have taken care of such detailing ...Like in the first epi the slate had 3 tasks : Stephahie 18 july (date when show started ) , Mona's fees and delegation .
in that 1st epi only I closes Stepahie wala task ...
and in yesterday It was Delegation on top ...
How well they have presented Abhi's basic Character through this to-do list ...
Can't wait to see Meera's reaction when she enters his Room...hahahha that's gonna be super fun...

I love Pant Kids...they are so there for each othet at any time...
Lovely Bond...

PS : Meera was wearing socks while sleeping ...hahaha , SO MEEE

Edit : Good to see easy chilled out Abhi...

Aww@ that gif...thanks for posting it here...I loved this moment.

lol@ the Khubsoorat reference...yes, the family does seem inspired from the Hrishikesh Mukherji families...that is a hard formula to get right in today's days of instant gratification especially...so again good job from the team on managing that.

They do such a good job of handling the little touches in a cast so large...in any given scene, there are atleast 7-8 characters/actors interacting...that must take so much rehearsal, practice, and timing to execute well...and everything is done so authentically...from Rohan's restless mannerisms to Madhu chachi's constant mumbling and scolding of everyone...

Great observation on Abhi's timetable too...I was noticing the same...they updated the to-do list over the course of the epis...and this shows the attention to detail from the team...kudos indeed👏

What a charming, understated show😃, Abhi-Meera make their way into your heart slowly but surely without standard tropes like angst, misunderstanding, deep gazes and of course trip fall catch. Rohan is Abhi's biggest cheerleader and wing-man in his own sweet way, the actor is doing a good job.

Kudos to the team for delivering something not often seen in desi TV, authenticity. I think they did a very good casting decision of having relative newbies spearhead the cast and the characters uplift the actors⭐️.
I hope they maintain the quality for sometime without buckling under TRP. The forum activity absolutely does not justify the content of the show!

+100 to that👍🏼...They seem to have gathered a superb team of actions and technicians together and so far the results are looking great...let's see how long they are able to keep to that without bowing to TRP pressures.

Re: forum activity...haha you should have seen this place on day one...absolute bhoot bangla...this is still marginally better from that now...but yes, it seems it's hard to get forum activity boosted without typical desi TV tropes in place.

Lovelyyy post, Anu.
There's something very comforting about this show...they are hitting the sweet spot between the humdrum of the noisy Pant family and the quiet shifts taking place with Meera's arrival and the joy she is discovering in the hills and their lives.

By the way, Anu, have you noticed the lyrics of the title track? While watching that launch conference video and that bit where the entire cast is grooving on the title track, I can't help but notice how sarcastic those lyrics are! From whatever minimalist knowledge I possess regarding Hindi, I could still make out some easy bits. Anywho, all those "ideal" characteristics each character wishes in the dulhania are exactly the ones you would see in the stereotypical female leads of the most desi shows...some sort of idealistic superwoman. lol and hence, bade bhaiyya ki dulhaniya hogi superwomaniya!😆

Thanks, Bidya! I agree, comforting is the word...like a cozy little blanket you can cuddle into...they are balancing things well for now...hopefully it will continue...let's see.

I actually didn't watch that part properly in the launch vid...skipped over the random dancing shenanigans😆

But yeah, I did get that sense from the first promo also that they are being a little tongue in cheek about the miles long list of requirements that the dulhaniya has to fulfill...I guess that will become more apparent once Meera marries into the family and their list gets turned on it's head...cuz Meera is the anti-thesis of everything on that "superwomaniya" list.

Sometimes I think they need to add in these kind of things cuz that is the basis that TRP audience understands...uske baad hi you can ATTEMPT to put some sensibility into the formula...warna logon ke bheje mein ghusta nahin😆

This show gives me nbt type vibe just in term of old world regular middle class settings and treatments though as in term of characters mohan and megha were more worldly wise as compared to meera and abhishek

Rohan is nanhi of this show who will bind meera to this pant family

My favorite scene of this show was the wall scene where the entire family contributed and which showed that although family are selfish and greedy they still love abhishek and can't see him sad
