Chapter 3
Days are passing but nothing is changing between Dev and Sonakshi. Dev still argues with Sonakshi over small things and sona also curses Dev all the time.
One fine day sona came early to the office and started working. Dev also came after sometime and saw her working at her work place. He stopped seeing her working with so much concentration and focus
D(pov)-chahe kuch bhi ho she atleast takes her work seriously and she is excellent in doing her work, her plans always proves to be profitable to the company. She works with so much passion that I always search myself in her. Her eyes contains big dreams which will surely get fulfill if she worked like this, and her eyes are beautiful also
Dev eyes got widened thinking about the thought he thought for Ms Bose "how can I think that "he asked himself and marched to his cabin shaking his head on himself.
Sonakshi was working and doesn't realized that when lunch time started, she moved her concentration from work to her new found friend natasha who came to call her for lunch.
N-kya yaar, kitna kaam karegi. Common pehle lunch karte hain then you continue your work, I will not mind.
S-ha baba chal, vaise bhi mera kaam khatam ho gaya hai aur main aane hi waali thi
N-aane waali thi to ab chale, mujhe bahut bhook lagi hai.
S-ha ha chal
They both headed towards canteen. Sona was talking with natasha so did not saw Dev coming from other side and then"CRASH".
Dev and sona both crashed with each other and then made a irritating face realizing who they crashed with.
D-aap dekh ke nahi chal sakti Ms Bose
S- I can say the same thing to you sir
D-kya matlab, main dekhke hi chal raha tha vo to aap hai jinka dhyaan kahi aur tha
S -oh really to agar aap itna dekhke chal rahe the to fir side se nikal jaate takraane ki kya zaroorat thi ya fir aapko mujhe is baat ki saza deni thi ki main aapke office mein dekhke nahi chal rahi thi
D-dont argue with me Ms Bose aap shayad ye baat bhul rahi hai ki main aapka boss hu aur aap mere under kaam karti hai
Sona huffed and then crossed he arm and muttered
S-huh jab dekho tab boss hu boss hu karke daant te rehte hai, bade aaye
D-aapne kuch kaha
S(with forced smile )-bilkul nahi, meri itni himmat ki main apne boss ko kuch kahu.
Dev shook his head at her sarcasm then went from there, sona also moved towards canteen to have her lunch.
After Some Days
Meeting Room
D-so jaise ki humne plan kiya tha ki is baar ki marketing strategies mein hume bahut modifications ki zaroorat hai aur uske liye maine aap sabse kaha tha ki kuch plans aap ready rakhiye jo hum aaj ki meeting mein discuss karenge, so plz apni baatein saamne rakhiye.
S-sir main kuch kehna chahti hoon
Dev smiles internally as he had already known that first one would be Sonakshi only
D-ji kahiye Ms Bose
S-sir I think hume apni advt thodi enhance karni chahiye
Dev nodded and then the meeting goes on. At last
D -so miss Sonakshi main aapko ye responsibility deta hu ki aap is project ko handle kare
Sonakshi smiled and nodded.
After somedays
A person was shouting at Sonakshi
P-what the hell is this Sonakshi, tumhe ek hi kaam diya aur vo bhi tumse thik se nahi hua, tum samajhti kya ho apne aap ko, do you even realize iske liye main tumhe job se nikaal sakta hu and agar ye baat dev sir ko pata chali to vo tumhe pakka job se nikaal hi denge
Then suddenly
"Kya ho raha hai yaha"
P-dev sir
D-ashutosh what's happening here (and then looking towards sona who was crying badly with her head lowered ) Ms Bose why are you crying
He asked shockingly
A-sir actually baat ye hai ki maine Sonakshi se kahaan tha ki project ki file vo apne paas rakhe main usse kal le lunga but isne vo file ghum kar di
D(shockingly) -whaaat?
A-yes sir and now she is crying
Dev with a stern face moved towards sona and stands in front of her
D(no nonsense tone) - Ms Bose file kaise ghum gayi?
S(scared and fumbling voice) -s..sir v..vo meri hi g..galti thi, m..maine th..thik se sambhala n..nahi file ko. I I am s..sorry
Dev smiled internally and then with a cool manner said to Sonakshi
D-aapko dusri file ready karne mein kitna time lagega Ms Bose
Sona shockingly looked towards him with her big eyes while other were also shocked by Dev's reaction. They had expected that he will yell and shout at sona and here he is behaving like nothing happened.
Sona came out of trance when she saw Dev raising his brows asking again
She said fumbling
S-ah 4 to 5 h..hours
Dev smiled all again got shock seeing dev smiling
D-ok then get back to work
And he went from there leaving other open mouthed
Dev's Cabin
A-may I come in sir
Dev nodded raising has head from file which he was reading
A-sir aapne Sonakshi ko kuch kaha kyu nahi, usne galti ki thi
D-ashutosh tum mujhe ek baat batao ki agar Ms Bose ki jagah vo galti tumne ki hoti to kya tumhare andar itne guts hai ki tum mere saamne ye keh sako ki galti meri hai, maine laparwaahi ki thi.
Ashutosh lowered his head accepting that what Dev is saying is true and Dev shook his head knowingly
D-I know nahi hai, tum zaroor koi na koi bahaana karte. But Ms Bose ne aisa nahi kiya, unhone apni galti accept ki which shows that she is a strong woman who has guts to accept her mistake and ability to rectify it. Aur isliye maine unhe second chance diya kyuki unhe galti ki thi gunah nahi
Ashutosh nodded and went out.
Here other side
Sona was completing the file and simultaneously thinking about Dev's reaction
S(pov)- ye aaj dev sir ko kya ho gaya tha, unhone itna normal reaction kyu diya, vo chahte to mujhe daant sakte the, vaise bhi hamesha mauka dhundhte rehte hai mujhe daant ne ka to fir aaj kyu nahi
She came out of her thought when she heard Ashutosh's voice
A-sonakshi file complete ho gayi?
S-y..yes sir almost done
A-ok hote hi mere cabin mein leke aana
And Ashutosh turned to leave when sona called him and said
S-sorry sir meri wajah se itna time waste hua aapka
A(smiled)-it's ok Sonakshi, vaise dev sir ne sahi kaha tha tumne galti ki thi gunaah nahi
Sonakshi got excited listening dev talking about her
S(excited voice)-dev sir ne aur kya kaha
Ashutosh smiled at her over excited behavior and sona lowered her eyes realizing that she became over excited
A-unhone kaha ki tum ek strong woman ho jise apni galti accept karna aata hai
Sona smiled realizing why Dev not shouted at her
She went to Dev's cabin after submitting file to Ashutosh
S-may I come in sir
D-come in
Sona entered in Dev's cabin
S-thankyou so much sir mujhe 2nd chance dene ke liye
Dev smiled and sona smiled seeing dev smiling
D-aur kuch Ms Bose
Sona shook her head and then she turned to leave when Dev said
D-I trust you Ms Bose
Sona turned her head towards him and they shared a beautiful eyelock
D(in trance)-aapki aankhen bahut khubsurat hai
Sona eyes widened listening it and Dev also got shock realizing what he said. Sona blushed and Dev again started staring her realizing how beautiful she is
Dev closed her eyes mentally smacking himself for thinking like this and then said
D-agar aapko koi aur kaam nahi hai to to you may leave
Sona nodded and went out while dev heaved a sigh of relief.
