kk i have this question
how many middle class people gone to jail for hit and run in india

i remember so many said that if he was a common mad he would be in jail
any lawyer her.

summary is do not panic if you have hit and run someone over. There are enough loopholes to save you and convinction rate is low and is reducing every year 😆

Ofcourt settlement is common in such cases especially if the culprit comes a from a powerful family.

On topic - one can be jailed anywhere between 2 - 10 years i think

what if the perosn was not drunk and nor he run away from the accident place
but still people got killed because of him
how many years jail he had to go

If a person dint run away and wasnt under the influence of alcohol then usually its a fine upto a certain amount or an imprisonment for 6mnths - 1 year period. not very sure though..

ya i think fine hi hoga
because most of the accidents main insurance company rupees de deti hai
ya even my day say if u have license and agar normal accident tha toh its civil crime
so many accidents happen by truck and bus but nothing happens because they dont run

My SIL was saved from a near-death accident where the vehicle killed 2 men already was running away and hit my SIL's skooty..

He surrendered the next week and got out of jail the next day.. Now he is roaming free..

And yes we are very much middle-class family..
