We have good sikh characters coming from bollywood, Tara Singh from Gadar, Kuldip Singh Chandpuri from Border, Milkha singh from BMB...

Well, his character in SOS was pretty stupid and thats my opinion. I didn't find it insulting either, but his character was plain dumb in that movie. From 100X movies in bollywood, and there is only these three and rocket singh where sardars were shown in different light. The movies you mention were somewhat inspired from real people and had some periodic references to them. Therefore, they had to keep them as real as possible. But if you find any minor sardaar character in movies, trust me he'll always be shown as someone who don't use his brain often.

So if there are sikh jokes out there...does that give bollywood some sort of right to keep abusing and highlighting those jokes?

I am sikh and I loved SOS , insult kahan thi ? ... It was much better than HNY and JTHJ 😛

why did you even mention HNY and JTHJ? 😆. Do you think I am some SRK fan hating on ajay? Is this the only reason one can say anything against ajay. heck! i don't even like srk. Just because i dislike aja'sy character in one movie doesn't mean I hate his guts.

Now go back and read my reply. never i said insulting. Me and all the people who went to see that movie here in BC..thought that movie was so funny cos it had some really stupid characters. It was even a topic of discussion on our radio show here at that time lol
