IKRS Wednesday 27th July 2016 ep 315 My Take ~ marriage of convenience

Often used phrase which simply means to marry someone without love. Usually conducted to cater to some ulterior motive other then emotional attachment. In history it was used to consolidate political liaison between nations ,involving political figures. Socially it can be used to improve social stature and finances. Such a marriage can also procure a maternal or paternal figure head for ones children. Within the storyline Dhani is having to marry Parshiya simply because her daughter needs a stable father figure. It's also a matter of unrequited love for Parshiya as he truly loves Dhani and her daughter so much so, that he is ready to enter into wedlock with Dhani should she accept him. Dhani does, and now the much sung about tradition in eastern cultures that marriage is not just between two people but a union between two families is touched upon in the episode.

Wedding preparations are underway the engagement ceremony with supporting rituals custom and practice are being discussed being Parshiya and Pratibha. Have to say Parshiya is a man with plenty of supportive systems around him in the shape of Dhani's family ,his peers and now his mother. In fact his mother and friends play quite a role in helping him realize his love and its progression. Quite a bind exists between this mother and son. Despite all the support, Parshiya is a realistic man and he is still unsure if Dhani will fully accept him. Pratibha sees this as no major issue and leaves it up to her son to ensure he overloads Dhani with so much love that Viplav will become history for her!

Dulari too ensures that Viplav becomes history for Dhani. Dhani looks at herself in the mirror, Viplav's face beams into a smile with a twinkle in his eyes as he looks at Dhani through her reflection.. Dhani is about to line her hair parting with vermilion in Viplav's name! Next minute Dulari hand deters hers from applying vermillion in her hair parting. She clarifies her inauspicious action by giving Dhani the chilling message , its best she put the vermillion of Parshiya's instead of Viplav's name as Kamini rightfully does that! Dhani is upset by her mother's harsh words. But Dulari objectively bids Dhani to snap out of her world of reverie and focus on Vidha's future! That in reality Viplav has gone out of her life forever and it pointless for her now to hang on to the painful past. Viplav is history!

Not quite yet! for he who is meant to be will be! till the gods will it otherwise! In captivity in a dark eerie room Viplav rolls of the bed and lands on the floor. He struggles to find his bearings.. crawls on all fours to find his feet. Elsewhere another syringe is being held by the captor ready to pierce him with, if needs be! With great effort he hauls himself and finds his way to the window it opens, the sunlight be dazzles him in the face, nearly blinds him! in agony he shields his eyes from the glare! Dulari coerces Dhani with a hug tells her to embrace what the future holds for her Parshiya in her life..

Wedding shopping is next on the cards, preferably with the future daughter in laws choice. Pratibha and Parshiya come collect to Dhani for the spree. Vidha too wants to go. Parshiya takes Dhani to the side and shows understanding to the fact that she may not want to accompany his over, zealous mother !but Dhani keeps her mother's stance in mind.. Parshiya is now her future and Viplav history! So Dhani obliges , she's be happy to go shopping with his family! Viplav clearly begins to revive from his drugged state so he is punctured with another injection by his captor on his shoulder! then unceremoniously dragged across the floor to his bed, carried by the captor and dumped on the bed!...Vidha..first word that comes out of this semi conscious drugged father's mouth.. his daughter's ,his flower fairy's name!

Shopping spree continues Pratibha showers Dhani and Vidha both with garments and accessories ..she is the doting mother inlaw. Parshiya does tell Dhani that he knows both her and his mother very well. If at all she feels she doesn't want anything she doesn't fancy then say so and not suffer in politeness. Vidha wants a balloon! Pratibha offers to get her one from across the road. It's all to exciting for Vidha, a wedding , babaa becoming her papa! new clothes just like her mothers.. no wonder she feels like a light balloon that floats around her happy world! Pratibha gives green bangles a sign of married woman to Dhani , wants her to wear it.. an omen! The bangle snaps on Dhani's hand! Vidha carried away by exuberance! attempts to cross a busy traffic road! Vidha makes it midway.. then her legs totter and her senses float! another omen.. and is nearly hit by a fast moving car when a pair of strong arms rescue her! Dhani asks her what happened ?the child says she felt dizzy! It's boiled down to her skipping breakfast, hectic activity during shopping! All set right by being given a snack and some water.Dizzy heights of happiness? or dizzy spells of an underlying illness? Pining for a certain monster uncle? how serious is Vidha's giddiness?

No special day is complete without a historical record of a fun time! Parshiya takes an all smiling selfie of Vidha in his arms and Dhani by his side...now how does this picture end up on kamini's phone?? who sends her this snap? Tripurari or Parshiya ?? the mind boggles kamini smiles this is evidence of this small happy family! all smiles with no traces of missing Viplav! Yes this snapshot will sure come in handy.. muses the witch at home

Kanak has a go at kamini for not doing enough to find out where the letter came from? Kamini mocks Kanak and warns her to back off or else she will have her done for harassment! Kamini tells them she is not interested in their cheap family! nor does she give two hoots for Viplav he never cared for her in the first place! she just awaits for her travel visa to Europe and she will leave the lot!

Once a liar always a liar... its clear by now kamini has kept Viplav as a drugged captive that's how she must have got Dhani's mangalsutra off his wrist! as a prop for her letter. Her goon asks kamini the man has been fed ,should he be given a fresh injection Kamini replies no , and orders the curtains be parted! let the light in! she sneers the time has come to lift the blinds from Viplav's eyes.. so kamini kidnapped him till Dhani's marriage was set, underway ..with a view to release Viplav on the day of Dhani's wedding. Kamini hopes the sight of Dhani marrying Parshiya will send him crying back into her arms.. she needs to learn that those two whom the gods have joined in the first place, no man or woman can put asunder! I loved ur beginning para.always amazes me.yes marriage without love, doing something for a greater purpose rather than being selfish.here dhani makes d sacrifice for her daughter.it is a painful scene,dulari stopping dhani while putting vermilion in her parting is indeed a bad omen,something bad to happen, and dulari ...I cant understand her.wearing safed sari when her husband is still alive,

now stops her daughter from putting vermilion...ughhh.anyway for a better purpose obviously dhani removes that image of viplab from her mind, from her parting as well, his smiling face, him looking at her with so much love, d household chit chat nok jhoks,ruthna manana,him whipping off her tears,giving her every color of life she deserved...an inauspicious widow she was, deprived of colors, can she semember banaras,where d story began, a rakchas threw colors on a widow turned her into a queen of colors, white gradually turned into red,red is color of love, red is color of blood, blood that carries d color of ishq in both their veins.one can remove a vermilion, one can remove d external colors, wear safeed once again, but that color of love that runs throw our veins can never b removed,unless heart stops beating.
hey your summarising skills always amaze me.. yes that's how the story began.. it was fine till the girl was a widow.. once she got married nothing but trouble shooting..
I loved window scene with mishal where light falls on his face, does it mean d darkness in his life is soon going to b enlightened?that he is going to get answer to every question?

Hammie d storyline wasnt going smooth.d tracks left unresolved .n forum is dead.u r d only saving grace of d forum.I wonder where swati is.thanks a lot for writing for us every single day, it makes us think, think beyond our eyes can see. the story is not going the way i want it... viplav should be seen as a single parent a father bringing up atharva.dhani should marry parshiya and vidha should be given to dhani.. let colors do something different for a change. besides there is negativity against the cast the ph and the channel.. on the forum, i too feel show lacks , action, character complexity.. joined because of mishal and widow issues but it was such a palava right from the start... but why am I still here? MISHAL. loyalty to him..i feel he has come to end the show in a short time.. hoping thursday's show was good saw some shots of SS very pretty..😃.. MISHAL looked well can see he has caught the London sun! has a nice glow on his face he has been walking in the parks! can be see thats what people do here walk and spend the day in the sunshine... I do no one wants to miss the sunshine! much love hammie

viplov even being drugged n unconscious is preoccupied by his sunshine,, how hes been dragged was heart wrenching,, his heart beat still connected to the part of is body i.e. vidha n he wont let go of her ths time Hammie,, he has got his sunshine after 5 long yrs,, he need to win ths battle,, seems lion has been return to bring back that sunshine in his life again!! her dizzy spell's are meant to bring her parents together bt fr how long is the real question!!

Well. I am happy that Mishal is back again. When he left I was lost. I couldn't think of watching a new show. now I am relieved. although I am still having network problems .but at least I can watch some scenes and view caps.
