Whoot whoot! š„³We completed a month last night. I guess everyone missed out on that cause we were badly hung up on something a bit scandalous and scintillating at the same time. So anyways, I guess this is one reason to rejoice. I don't know about you guys but I feel like cracking open the vodka bottles for I stuck to a series for 31 episodes. This is a massive feat that I have achieved!
I have said this before and I say this again. Fire your editors! The guy is clearly under impression that he is working for some supernatural series to add that many VFX into every episodic rendition. Also we know the couple names, for we invented it. You don't have to plaster it on our faces every time. Duh!
So the episode continued with Anika continuing what she had left unfinished previously. Shivaay's face was worth watching as he is so hung ho on koi farak nahi padta' yet is boiling with seething anger inside. I swear had it been up to him he would have peeled off Anika like a boiled potato and then would have mashed her up in a similar manner! And his fhat the wuckš¤£...okay I don't even know what to say on that one. Rudra was right into planning Anika's funeral for Shivaay Singh Oberoi and his anger are one committed couple.
Anyways not much on that particular front for it was a plain rendition now when I look back at the same. This back and forth principle on Shivaay and Anika seriously has to go, it breaks all that which has been previously established. Kick the rail and stick to the same, please. After a while I can bring myself to like the two so again...stick to one thing and not pull various scenarios on the same.
And the last thing that I had wanted to see was shown last night. Riddhima carries a negative streak in her. Why it is that ex-flame can never have dignified exits? Just to make Ishana work they are spoiling a potentially good character. Riddhima could have been a cherished friend for Om if not his love interest but I guess this is something that cannot be warranted on Indian television. Another good plot bites the dust. Her character doesn't really speak possessiveness but has a manipulative angle to her as well. She dubbed those bangles as cheap imitation ones clearly showing how her work is nothing but a hoax and that she prefers the elitist mindset over Omkara's simple thinking. Damn her first meeting had really kindled hope in me when I should have known better.
So it is not Tia but her mom Sandhya who has everything dark about her. She has seen Shivaay being affected by Anika and that is one reason why she is agitated over the future of her daughter. It didn't feel like a mother worrying about the future prospects of her daughter but a business magnet who sees a possible future where the deal won't happen and the partnership would break apart somehow. It might be that Sandhya is pushing Tia towards Shivaay for monetary gains and maybe that is the reason why this relationship comes across as too stand-off-ish. Tia felt mellow in front of her mom, she is a weapon for her to wield and if she turns vampish tomorrow, guess I won't be able to blame her for she seems to be following all that her mom says blindly.
Okay before anything else style Tia better. I mean those hideous shoulder pads were such an eye sore. And if she had to wear those, couldn't she team up the same with a black outfit. I mean who styles her?š¤¢
And then the college sequence. I can't begin to tell you how massively pissed I am at Rudra for my Soumya cry. If I could I would have gotten inside my TV set and pulled Rudra's ear to get some senses to him. I really felt bad when Rudra so caustically snubbed her, and the poor thing didn't retort but let out a childish cry saying she'd never offer him her paratha anymore. Jeez I felt my heart tearing into two.š„ŗ Such a sweet thing and this is how you treat her Rudra? What simmered me down was a flicker of guilt on Rudra's face. So her felt bad at having hurt her but he quickly wore that mask of indifference and confidence to hide the same. I guess this the role he is perfect in playing. Rudra seems to be hiding too much to let others see. I would love it if he is explored more. He might be nave, he might be someone who puts his trust over others easily but he is not stupid or indifferent. He can assess things and that I guess is his best trait. When tomorrow his brothers are exiled he can easily take up the role of Bharat managing the administration with militant precision.
And I will save the best for the last. Tej and Jhanvi. How beautiful my OTP are!! Tej had been talking to Svetlana all the while eyeing the pink shirt that was kept on his bed. His smile at seeing that said so much about the love he held for Jhanvi some years ago. Even Jhanvi confessed the same to him. She was so happy recalling that Watna ceremony of hers where Tej, even with a torn shirt and haldi smeared face had come to meet her as heroes do for their lady love. She had a beatific smile on her face discussing that one moment from her life. Tej too had shared the mirth of the same. Seriously what exactly went wrong back in time that nothing is left now but a shadow of that happy past?
"Ishq lamhein kartien hain, yaadien barson ko mil jaati hain." How right Tej was into saying so. No wonder Omkara takes it from him. I guess this is one more reason why Om hates this particular relationship with his own father. It is his fear that he will turn into his father someday that keeps him on the edge as far as sharing something with Tej is concerned. He is scared that no matter what he tries he will end up being a creature similar to what his father is and that is what causes him so much of agitation. It isn't just his perfidy or a wooden emotion, but his core being that scares Om to the core.
Pinki helping Jhanvi into getting her relation back to front foot is something that I cannot see without raising my alarms but it still is nice. It looks as though this family sticks together when it comes to fights that are to be finished. I would be the happiest one if I am proven wrong on Pinki front but as of now, I am holding my cards on her.
Shivaay was genuinely happy seeing his Bade Papa and Badi Ma share a moment where decibels where normal. You can see this guy really wants his family to be together and be happy. He doesn't want any fallout between anyone. My heart goes out to him when I think how much pain he must have hid within him all these years in order to give Om and Rudra a semblance of sanity. Even he needs healing and that wouldn't come from medicines or anything. It will happen only when he allows himself to let things go.
So Gayatri is all set to be released and that causes great worry to Tej as a secret would be out otherwise. It is no brainer that empires are built on secrets. A lot of skeleton are buried before the foundation can be laid. But Tej's agitation simply show that is one is the weak column of their foundation and that if it breaks or carries a crack in it the empire would come tumbling down. Shivaay was alerted at this and I guess he will go out on his own to find about this one secret that no one seems to be saying out loud.
P.S. This faceless guy, Siddhart Vikram Rana, sounds majestic...I just hope he has a majestic face to him as well. I am guessing he will flirt with Anika and cause great dismay to Shivaay. The jealousy drama is again upon us. Uff with this copy-pasting.š
