People here assert this being a family drama which it is ofcourse according to the initial promos...but one thing that most people forget here is that the show's name is Ishqbaaz, and that's for a reason...a lot of people keep saying why love stories are getting more importance than the family drama or bromance, why the three girls get so much time when they were not in the promos...Agree the three girls were not there in the initial promos...
But the show was never about Ishqbaazi of three brothers with each other or the Ishqbaazi of Oberoi family members with each other...😆 Ishqbaaz always meant the three brothers, their individual love stories, and the strong relationship between the three brothers after their respective partners enter their lives and how the three girls keep the family united and how the race for money, fame power does affect the brothers' bond
Agree this is a show that promised bromance,a Ramayana kinda concept...but I think the initial promos were a brief summary of the entire show's concept...but the main concept still remains...Ishqbaazi...which was described well off by Dadi in the very first episode
Me feels that the makers will first build the three love stories...for sure the stories will be a little rushed...the three brothers get married to the three girls
Then the actual story starts...Pinky and Shakti turn negative...Jhanvi goes crazy with Svetlana being the 2nd woman in her marriage and Tej goes crazy in the race of who is the heir
But again, with all the negative points, the main point as mentioned by dadi in the first episode remains, the 3 girls will keep the three brothers tied and will not let money and power come between their relation...Bromance and Ishqbaazi will still remain the main concept
So I don't really see a problem with the rushed love stories or other characters like Svetlana, Roop not getting importance atm...bcoz later when the show is 6 mnths old, we will majorly get to see nagtivity...plannings and plottings by both brothers, Svetlana, Roop, maybe Tia too and many others
Yes I would definitely like to see the relationship of Jhanvi and Tej getting better with the marriage preparations...
People want every character to get screenspace...but the show is just half an hour and not Roop, Svetlana, Tej, Shakti, IShana's family Soumya Anika's family everyone can get screenspace all at once
Show will build up slowly and Ishqbaazi will always get the top priority no matter wat...I am sure they will build up the three love stories within a month and Shivay and Anika might end up getting married amidst all this Tia-Shivay marriage fest and later Om n Ishana...Roop and Svetlana might keep giving small appearances for the time being until the real race for 'who will be the heir' begins...we will get more negative characters later like Bua's husband and maybe her kids too...so demanding for screenspace for family members, individual favorites and others right now doesn't seem justified
The bromance, their bonding with dadi and individual love stories are getting ample attention atm, fair enough!
Btw...Soumya's character is likable since day 1...I feel Rudra is going to get dumped big time by the girl who he was trying to impress that's when he finds a best frend in Soumya and she turns out to be the same Love Angel who he likes to listen...he might also hurt Soumya initially by running away from her as she is so chubby and hanging out with such average looking girls might not go with his personality as per him n his frens...anyway looking forward to their cute story too.
