Ashutosh Gowariker, who has directed films like Lagaan (2001), Swadesh (2004) and Jodhaa Akbar (2008), will soon return to acting. He will be a part of Priyanka Chopra's debut Marathi production, Ventilator.
We hear, the filmmaker has an important role in the movie, which is being directed by Rajesh Mapuskar.
Waise, Ashutosh is not a novice when it comes to acting -- he has been a part of many Hindi, Haryanvi and Marathi TV shows and films. But yes, he hasn't faced the camera since 1998-99, his last outing being the super-hit TV show, CID.
His last appearance in a Marathi movie also happened around the same time -- Sarkarnama (1998).
