With stars like Mira Sethi, Nausheen Shah, and Adnan Siddiqui in the lead cast and promising teasers we can safely say that it makes it to our must-watch list. Besides the lead cast, the play also comprises of Behroze Sabzwari and Seemi Pasha.

The drama serial is directed is by Badar Qayum and the story is penned by Riffat Siraj, who also wrote Tahir-e-Lahooti.

Mira Sethi and Adnan Siddiqui's chemistry

The first thing which attracts one towards Khusboo Ka Safar is the chemistry seen between Siddiqui and Sethi's characters. The chemistry suggests that the drama serial will portray an intense love story where the audiences will be able to connect with the lead pair's emotions because, let's face it, if the acting is realistic, we form a bond with the characters straight away and take part in their joys and sorrows. Remember Humsafar? It was a mundane story that became magical because somehow the audience related with the lead pair.

Nausheen Shah plays a multi-layered character

Nausheen Shah seems to have a really intriguing character in the serial. She essays the role of Farheen and comes across as someone who is confident, spoiled, and can't digest the fact that a girl like Riba (Mira Sethi) can become Siddiqui's character's (named Talal) center of attention. To her, Riba is a girl who has no place in high society and she repeatedly tries to shun Riba. But there' s reason behind Farheen's aversion to Riba.

A love triangle

It is a big, fat cliche albeit an interesting one.

In earlier interviews with HIP both Nausheen Shah and Mira Sethi had provided us an insight into their characters and the story line. The love triangle forms when Talal falls in love with Farheen's middle class friend Riba.

Riba manages to win the hero, but he eventually becomes blind and the story progresses amid much twists and turns, making this serial all the more interesting.

Going by the teasers, the direction looks sleek and coherent. The few dialogues that we got to hear cement Sethi's promise that Khushboo Ka Safar is a "beautiful script with equally eloquent dialogues".

While Sethi and Siddiqui look great together, it's Nausheen Shah who has us sitting at the edge of our seats waiting for the play to air soon as her character has the ability to make each episode stand out.
