Heya Guys!
This is me ROS, all set to rant out once again. This is a very random One-shot that I myself don't know why I wrote.
Boredom, I guess. Or maybe the look that Anika gave to Jhanvi. 😕
Whatever, try it out. Hope you all will like it! Couldn't think of a suitable name, hence this 😆
**ANSHI ARE MARRIED IN THIS
PAIN
Lost in her own world, she traversed the empty corridors of her house. But this emptiness and darkness didn't scare her because she was accustomed to be alone. There was no one who gave a heck about her, not that she wanted to. She has adapted to her lonely life and now a days, even a slight amount of noise or liveliness in the house irritated her to the core.
She kept walking while taking a sip from the flask. Her bad! She lost her balance and was almost about to hit the floor when someone's hands reached out to support her.
"Sambhal ke, Aunty ji!" Anika said with concern.
"Ah! How can I control? Everything is going out of control...e.. everything!" Jahnvi stuttered.
"Aap chaliye mere saath. Main aapko aapke room mein le chalti hoon." Anika pleaded once again.
"No! I am good enough for myself. Main chali jaungi." Jhanvi freed herself from Anika's hold and staggered towards her room.

She wasn't able to concentrate on anything. The more she tried, the more she failed at it.
"Anika! Kya ho gaya hai tujhe aaj? Kahan dhyan hai tera!" She chided herself.
Last night's happenings flashed in front of her eyes and she couldn't help but feel bad for Jhanvi. Two months into the Oberoi mansion and she had learnt that Jhanvi wasn't what she looked like. She wasn't the typical high class, drunkard what she had deduced her to be when they first met. She was a tormented woman, longing to be cared for. A woman trying to drown her sorrows with a sip of bitterness.
Leaving everything on hand, Anika decided to talk to her. After all, she was Anika! And there was nothing that she couldn't handle. Determined, she walked towards Jhanvi's room.

Anika braced herself and knocked again. A muffled voice asked her to come in.
"Aunty..." She spoke, suddenly not very sure about her decision.
"Anika? Tum yahan?" Jhanvi looked perplexed. Then she gave a little laugh and continued, " Meri halat dekhne aayi ho? Theek hoon main. Leave me on my own. Nobody cares, you should not too."
Anika walked towards her and sat down, " Aunty, Aap yeh lime juice lijiye. Maine khaas aapke liye banaya hai. Anika Special." She made quoting gestures with her hands.
Jhanvi looked at her, "Why?"
"Because someone has told me that if there is darkness all around we should look for the light within us." Anika smiled at her, remembering what Dadi Ji had once told her.
"There is not light, Anika. I am in a perpetual night! There will be no sun...no morning...no light!"
"You can talk to me Aunty! I am there for you."
Tears cascaded down her face as Jhanvi looked at Anika's innocent face. Holding a glass of lime juice with a smile on her face, she looked like a little child, trying to pacify her angry mother.
"Aunty?"
"Badi Maa!" Jhanvi spoke.
"Ji?"
"Shivaay mujhe Badi Maa bulata hai. Tum bhi kahogi toh mujhe accha lagega."
Anika's smile widened as she forwarded the glass she held, "And if you drink this, I'll feel good too."
Jhanvi put down her flask and took the glass from Anika. Soaring in her victory, Anika stood up and flashing all her 32s started walking out.
"Anika..."
"Ji Aun...Badi Maa?"
"Thank you, Beta!" Jhanvi looked at her affectionately.
"Anything for you, Badi Maa."
As she turned around, Jhanvi called her again, "Shivaay ko khud se door mat jane dena Anika. What mistakes I did in mine and Tej's relationship, please don't repeat them."
Anika gave a slight nod and walked out, leaving Jhanvi to herself. She knew it wasn't wise to push Jhanvi too hard. It was a good beginning...she should now just wait for Jhanvi to open up to her. And how sure was she! That It will happen soon.
Meanwhile, Jhanvi acknowledged that it felt good to see someone care about her. She pretended that she didn't mind but she did and today she felt a little lighter. Taking a sip from the lime juice that Anika made, when she dropped the beer flask into the bin...she herself didn't know.
