I thought that cv's will be planning omkara and a Ishana angle very carefully but gul looks confused ...she is testing the water from the day Ishana enter...I mean if In one epi Ishana shown cunning in second epi as "bechari " what's that I think this track is not written before and gul actually comes on location and think randomly and shoot the scene ...and sees what's go well with audience ...I find this ANIKA and shivaay war track quite entertaining but irritating at the same time ...there is to much focus in showing shivaay flaws in many scenes ANIKA also misbehave and I just don't get this ANIKA little bro ...his dialogues are forced...why to much emphasis on ANIKA ...I hope cv's will remember that this show is abt brommance and remain so rather then devar bhabhi pyar ...if ANIKA enter Oberoi mention as Bahu ...hope she won't take shivaay place in his brothers life ...shivaay is been shown cooking food for his family specially for omkara and rudra now cv's pls don't put ANIKA in it ...in ishani and omkara case as I mention this is a weak story
Iine and unconvincing still intriguing and un predictable ...shivani what u think how will ishani going to con omkara ...by first making him fall in love with her then lootofy him ...I don't think so that with having such deep relation with ridhima he will all of a sudden fell in love with Ishana ...ya one thing is clear Ishana will fall very hard in love with omkara first...she will try. To break om and ridhima relationship ...lets see what cv's upto but this omkara ishani track will going to be tragic both for om and Ishana .tej is mending his relation with Jhanvi and pinky turning positive ...well I don't think so atleast abt tej ...well he is a bad man and will not change.shivaay has many good qualities rather than showing him wrong all the time .in this marriage track it will be ANIKA ended up getting married to Shivay ...I think so but cv's don't force ANIKA on us speciaLily I don't want to see ANIKA I every brother scenes ...solving all the problems of om and rudra ...I will not take it she will be shown taking Shivay place in omkara and rudra life ...it is shivaay who always take care of his brothers and vice versa now pls cv's don't show that shivaay is wrong and what ANIKA is doing is always right ...brothers bonding must be the real emphasis.

I am going to go of a tangent, there is one thing I do not like about some FL on Indian tv is that they are flawless and the show makers tendency to make them win by hook or by crook. Also if they misbehave or are rude there is always some sort of justification. While the ML is always shown to be flawed and are wrong even if they have every right to be angry.
This is one of the reasons why I stopped watching IPKKND, I dislike Khushi's character so much that she irritated the hell out of me. Here characterization reminded me of a yoyo, she was so obnoxious at times and that she never really changed. How can one person remain so naive after so many bad experience happen to them, they tend to wise up.

Here I am liking Anika a bit but yes she needs to be shown with flaws and not keep on highlighting Shivaay flaws. Shivaay has goodness in him and it needs to be shown.

Yesterdays episode was good but there is something missing and I love Rudra his exploring can wait a bit, 1st let them finish with Sivaay and Omkara. Let Rudra be a comic relief and when ever he comes on screen brings a big smile to my face. Especially his rants when it comes to Lady Baba.

I have no comments on Ishana and they should stop doing the pendulum of her character. Either show her a con artist or dont at all.

Omkara is too perfect right now bring some grayness in him, as I love people with grayness. As I feel we as humans are grey shaded and that's what make us more fascinating.

There were certain shots that were good and symbolic like the unfinished statue where Shivaay was standing.

Want to see the equation between Shivaay and his parents, so we could understand him more better. Unfortunately or fortunately parents play a big part on a child, they have the power to break or make them healthy adults.

Even then I still love the scenes between the brothers Om can read Shivaay silence and says his thoughts to us.

Precap was hilarious and want to see Rudra reaction when he see the flour on Tia's face.

Great analysis and loved your take on it. I would like to tell that the makers have not made up their mind of charectoriztio of Shivaya and Ishanni. How can a person live if she is on the streets literally with a young boy. She will naturally accept the cheque. What can she do if he is is blocking all the avenues opened to her? He goes on to say every deal is based on money. How can a person live on Fresh air. Ishaani i still will reserve my comments because the makers are confused and let them make up their mind.

Shivaay's character is also contradictory. So let me see when the makers will make up their mind.

And I love S. Makes me feel like the God of Underworld!😎 *flips hair*

Coming to the post,
Last night's episode was indeed better than the ones we got this week, not that the bar was set high by the previous episodes 😆.

The bar lies on the floor, so all they do is jump over the same and viola we have a comparatively better episode than the one seen previously. Dekha inka logic???

Bruh, I really don't like the whole deal with the flashback narration. It just lets the cat out of the bag too soon and honestly, it kind of stomps on any excitement one may have about the episode.
I won't lie, I found the whole confrontation between Anika and Shivaay nice. Surbhi overshadowed Nakuul with her brilliant performance and this clearly has to earse any fragment of doubt in people's mind about her not being a good choice for the role. She owned the whole scene. Although why she chose to meet him in the middle of nowhere, in that attire and that too during such a heavy downpour, beats me.

Both Surbhi and Nakul were good but it was Surbhi outshone the latter. Her fierce determination was worth watching. She excels in emotionally charged scenes brilliantly; her other forte may require polishing but pulling out card for emotional upheaval is simply amazing. While she looked breath taking in white I don't understand why on earth would anyone meet in a downpour dressed like Sri Devi?

But what fascinated me the most is that Shivaay, who went to great lengths to get even with Anika, to inflict her with pain, was miles away from a sense of satisfaction even after having succeeded in doing exactly the same. The way he looked at her break down in the middle of the road shows that he did feel a pinch in his heart too.
The whole thing you pointed out, about the both of them, holds true. I can't even try and add my two cents to it.
You are like Houdini, except with words that is 😆

Shivaay is someone who wants to earn his victories. His one stand proved it. He doesn't like things being handed out to him, that is why he went to lengths to gain that. And now that he has, he cannot rejoice in the same because from whom he has won this one wasn't even the target point. His intrinsic good nature is what holds him back from being all happy.

Houdini died a painful death. What are you trying to imply, eh?😆

Coming to Ishaana, the girl is definitely one confusing puzzle. I think she didn't mind conning Rudra because of what attracted her attention to him. She saw his flashing away the big bucks at the cafe and took him to be another spoilt brat, born with a silver spoon. Maybe to her, even Rudra's act of kindness might have come across as an attempt to flaunt his wealth to the world.
But now, with Omkara, things have taken a different turn because he is the only one, who has seen the real Ishaana. She has never let her guard down in front of a prospective target but with Om, it just happened. Having realised how he himself is a broken soul, she may not want to be the cause of anymore pain to him.
Like she herself had stated, Omkara is simply different from any guy she has met.
Did I make sense there? I'm too stoked at the moment. 😆

Even if she saw a rich spoil brat in Rudra, what about the people she has conned previously? She has enjoyed being in this profession previously so what changed now that she seems to be crying it out like that? Om's deep talk might have kicked something in her but then again she taking a 360 degree turn after having claimed that "issey lootne mein bada maza aayega" doesn't go well together!

Another thing, I did not like Ishaana's dad's attitude. He caused the mess and now he can't even man up and take responsibility for his actions. Like wth dude, gather your marbles and own up. But no, he'd rather help or rather make his daughter con people. Lame excuse of a father, if you ask me.

Saare baap iss serial mein ajeeb hain! He is a scoundrel and a rascal all put together in the name of a father.

I loved Omkara and Shivaay's little chat. Om made me fall for him all over again. He is so precious and his shayari! Awiee S, I have found true love 😆😆

We've all found true love at the same time with the guy I guess!😆😆 but indeed his dialogues and shayari are pretty amazing to be honest.

Also, I don't have anything more to say 'cause your post is amazing and I have said enough already.
This comment is long enough to be a separate post 😆

Naah I love reading l-o-n-g replies!

P.S Jessi, I stole your spot 😎

I'm going to keep it short today, Shivani, nothing much to add 😆

The opening scene was done nicely - Obros and their dadi. Like you, I hope that CVs are going to explore Rudra's character soon, as well. Maybe with the upcoming shooting sequence they will set the first stone on this path. Let's just keep our fingers crossed that it will be more like the Shivaay-hospital scene than the Omkara-overdosing one - although, the aftermath of the latter was brilliant, as well, with ShivKara and them pouring it all out! And I hope to see Tej and Jhanvi's reactions, as well. Therefore, our laadla can get hurt a little, I don't mind; just don't overdo it, lol 😆 And then, the talk about Roop was quite interesting. It was once again shown that Omkara is the rational one amongst them, the one who wants to assess a situation thoroughy before coming to a judgment. Shivaay, on the other hand, is not as forgiven. His rationality switches off as soon as someone tries to harm his family. I'm curious to see how this will all play out. Omkara's blief in second chances - how will it affect him later on when Ishana will betray him? It remains to be seen.

The Anika-Shivaay scene wasn't too bad, either. Anika is a great character, she has fight in her and is stubborn, she has practically lost everything and yet, is not ready to bow in front of Shivaay, to give him this satisfaction. As you said, people who have nothing to lose anymore are most dangerous and Shivaay should be wary. Well, she is an Indian show heroine so, we can't expect any ruthless "revenge" but let's see how it all plays out. I'm still miffed at her being the wedding planner, it is not even her profession! If they leave it at her being the caterer, then okay, but more? I know I won't be impressed, but if they show that Dadi is helping her out, since she did it once, maybe they can come up with a... digestable explanation, lol.

Ishana... what to say? You already said it all. Though, I find her better when she is her calm and mature self, this sudden change in Ishana is just weird. No idea what the CVs were thinking when they gave her this kind of background that doesn't even connect to her initial portrayal. And even then, her father and sister don't have any inhibitions when it comes to conning people- why does she? And why only for Om? Because he spoke a few nice words to her? Chalo. Let's see what else they have planned with this angle :-/

And the ShivKara scene was my fav, I have to admit. These two have such a good understanding, and even if Shivaay does not reveal any details he still has someone even he can turn to in hopes to let off some of his burdens. Omkara's dialogues were great! And I especially loved that one: "I am happy." - "To lag kyun nahi raha?" I am seeing all of these as hints and hope the CVs won't disappoint and Omkara really will have a major hand in bridging some of the gaps between Shivaay and Anika.

And Rudra na ho kar bhi hot hai: "Rudra ke saat reh kar hum dono ka sense of humor bhi coma main chala gaya hai." 🤣

Hello,
Highlights of the show:

1) Tel maalish - Shivaay Singh Oberoi is a Chef, Masseur - all in one. (Perfect husband material minus the anger)

2) As you pointed out, Rudra absolutely lights up the screen. However, I do wish to see some depth from him now. I want him to 'grow' up a little and come out of the brothers shadow.

3) Om wanting to give benefit of the doubt to bua. He doesn't jump to conclusions. He wants to know the reason. I find this characteristic similar to Jhanvi - When the lost diamond scene happened, and her saying 'aap sab toh mujhe guilty mante hain' (something along these lines... don't remember the exact words). He has a lot of pride.

4) Shivaay's biggest downfall is his temper. His reasons follow after the action.

5) Anika & Shivaay rain conversation - I felt Anika's pain. A person who has hit the lowest of low can only go up. She has lost everything.. She can only gain now. I also liked Shivaay looking at the side mirror, and showing remorse even if it was for a fraction of a second. Clean slate for them from here on now...

6) Om & Shivaay's conversation - Pure love. If they were of a different gender, and not siblings --- 'Perfect soulmates'😉

Ishana and Family - Ignorance is bliss! (I wonder if forum has trouble accepting our views regarding her and thus so much hoopla and childish posts 😕 - We are just discussing the characters peeps. )

Missing Poster : Piku, & Soumya. If you introduce so many characters in the show, then you have to give each some screen time.

How come an only sister doesn't bond with the brothers. (Personal experience - I am an only girl in my family of 6 cousin brothers - and trust me, I ALWAYS get the priority in everything and never mind the love). Pike has to be equally impacted by family drama. They should show some bonding over it with brothers.

Where did Ridhimaa go??? What happened to spending quality time?

Precap - Back to FL helping in the house

Ciao!

Great analysis, once again.

I am coming round to your view of the Bromance being better than the Romance here (Other than Tejhanvi of course). Rudra is amusing, but I can see that beginning to grate if they don't flesh out his character a bit more.

Memories of IPK abound quite a bit here. Rain confrontation, flour tossing, ML going on house buying sprees ... although I can't see Tia stepping aside as gracefully as Lavanya had done. I suspect her family business is in dire need of this merger.

Also, the dialogue writers have been a bit heavy handed with Dadi's prescient words when she's speaking to Shivaay about Anika's presence in their home.

I absolutely adore Rudra! Nautanki! One good thing about the Anika-Shivaay scene was the slight but noticeable change in Shivaay. Like you said, he felt something, seeing anika breakdown, even if it was for a split second.

I really can't be bothered with the overrated love stories. I have no interest in them atm. I have to skip half the episode just so I can see the Obros in action. And I'm tired of continuously asking for Soumya so I decided I will wait patiently.

The highlight of the day was our best ship ShivKara! I love the fact that Omkara is Shivaay's go to person when his mind ceases to hold the helm of his life together and tightly. He is somewhat perturbed at not being able to destroy Anika the way he had wanted to or maybe over the fact that he isn't as happy as he had thought he'd be. Obviously when you zealously invest your energies into a single outcome and then are not met with a result you had wanted to it comes across as a failure for not being able to tap things the way you had wanted to. Shivaay is going through similar crisis and that is the reason why he flocked to Omkara to vent out his suppressed frustration at not being able to pull out the expected emotions in him. Again as he is unable to express himself out he lets Omkara dissect him with whatever bits and chips he has allowed him to see. Omkara doesn't harp advises or instructions to him.

I love their relationship. Reminds me of me and my older sister.

He simply asks him to acknowledge that bottled up force in him and see whether he is happy or not. And this one push sets Shivaay into thinking whether Anika carries innocence or artifice. Om might not have given him loads to listen to and act accordingly he readily did open a chasm for Shivaay to peep into. He was right when he said that every man is an artist when his pain is out his threshold. Shivaay so far hasn't reached that breaking point but I guess Shivaay will now begin understanding what deep waters Om wants him to tread and measure. I loved the ending note when Shivaay was standing beside an unfinished project of Om. It was symbolic that Shivaay's own projects, his own personality and his decisions are incomplete simply because he hasn't put his heart into the same. The moment he seeps deep into that, just the way Om does, he too would be able to complete his masterpieces and show his joy to everyone out in the open. The last scene of the episode was a definitive artistic stroke and was beautiful to look at as well.

👏lovely analysis
The Omkara and Shivaay scene at the end of the episode was beautiful.

Me too. Missed TejVi. You feel their absence when they're not around.
