HER ARRIVAL IN THEIR LIFE
The night passed in collecting courage for a new day to be seen. Sun peeped from the mountains and formed a golden line at its edge. Yudhistir stood up from his place where he had spent his darkest night thinking of all the teachings his father imparted him,
**"Always remember son your name says, this life in no less than a continuing battle, where we have enemies not in front of us holding arms instead residing within us. Your anger and grief, your greed and egoism... all these are the biggest rivals of a person which might make him wild or numb. In all such situations dear, you have to remain concentrated on what the next best be done. You shall remain stable. **
Yudhishtir swallowed with a heavy heart to become stronger with the next breathe.
He approached his mother, who seemed another corpse to him. He was prepared to witness such a state of her. Nakul and Sahadev were lying beside her, their dirty cheeks were evident of the number of tears they had shed in the darkness of sorrow. Leaving alone he went towards rest of his brothers. With his swollen red eyes he saw how both were sitting by facing their backs towards each other. He kept his hand on Arjun's shoulder ho acted very strongly.
"Arjun
--"Jyeshtha, we trust you. The little boy said with a not so familiar mature voice and cuddled his elder's stomach.
"Yes jyeshtha Bheem joined them with Nakul and Sahadev.
Yudhishtir was filled to the throat. He could sense the stumbling sounds of their. He kept his hand on their foreheads, with all the fatherhood he had assembled in a night.
The boys went out to meet their Kakashree Vidur. He asked the kids to get ready to leave for Hasthinaur. They exchanged some looks. At the end Yudhishtir said to talk to Mata Kunti. She had lost all energy even to nod her face. Mutely she started packing the arms they had prepared. Implying Vidur arranged a chariot for all of them and without uttering any word they left their cottage, assembling all the memories of Pandu and Madri from the place.
Looking at the bright trees passing by... all the kids were sitting quietly.
suddenly a vague voice was audible to them. After a little while Arjun asked to stop the chariot.
"What happened son?" Vidur asked as he stopped coming next to them.
"Kakashree I feel like a child is crying nearby."
"Here in the middle of such dense forest what a child would be doing Arjun?"
"That's what makes me more tensed Jyeshtha. Shouldn't we see to it?"
In his naive voice Arjun managed to convince the elders and they stepped down the chariot... leaving Kunti and little Nakul - Sahdev with some soldiers on the chariot.
Following the sound they were led by Arjun, and went in the bushes of deep dense forest. With some arms ready Vidur came forward as they reached the sound.
But what they discovered was a bit difficult to believe... A small harmless baby girl was lying wrapped in a white cloth.
The very moment Bheem was attracted towards her and took her in his arms.
Yudhishtir remarked that we should find out her parents and hand over her to them.
Vidur went in one direction, Yudhishtir with Arjun went in another. With soldiers assistance also they were unable to find out her parents. For one complete prahar they kept searching for them.
At the end after realizing that no one is around they came back only to notice the girl laughingly playing in the cozy arms of Bheem!
Vidur examined the girl properly and came to the conclusion that this girl had been abandoned by her guardians. The gold chain in her neck showcased that she belonged to a well off family. There was a knife lying on the ground and some soil was powered over her. This all made his doubt even stronger.
Bheem was raged in anger when his Kakashree told them all his findings. And he declared that the very person has invited his/her death by this action. His love for the girl became even stronger. With his innocent eyes, he asked his Jyeshtha can they take the girl with them. Arjun sparkled listening to this. But Yudhishtir was in a dilemma.
"Will that be okay Kakashree? Ethically and socially?"
"We don't know, to which country she belongs to... what is her kul? All we know is that she is deprived of parenthood and society."
"And that in itself is the biggest curse for anyone."
"...and she shall not be safe here Jyeshtha. Wild animals may attack on her anytime." added Arjun who was already playing with the girl.
"Yes, Kakashree I feel we should take her with us. To protect someone's life is the biggest Dharma."
"You are absolutely right my son. But by what relation we will keep her in Hastinapur?"
"By the relation of humanity, bhrata Vidur." Kunti stated. The lady approached the discussion and caressed the sweet little girl.
"She will be my daughter by the relation of humanity."
"And our little sister, Mata!!" the kids were rejoiced.
Life is so strange! It takes your dear belongings away in one hand, and fills you with new things with the other. The sudden arrival of an unknown girl child in their lives was just like that. They did not know her identity or caste. They only knew that she had made them smile at such a moment when they were not prepared for it. Was it possible without a soul connection?
Love flowed from the six hearts to welcome the girl to their family.
