In our growing up years, apart from our parents, our guru or teacher also play an important role in shaping us up. Today is the day when we pay our respects to our gurus and express our gratitude to them.
We at Tellybuzz however, decided to do something different this Gurupurnima. We decided to list down the top 5 vamps and what have they taught us. After all, television too teaches us lot many things...

Sesha (Adaa Khan in Naagin)

Shesha literally taught us to share the load. Right from Shivanya's revenge against the Raheja family, to sharing Shivanya's love interest. Shivanya, in the process of taking her revenge falls in love with Rithik whom she gets married to. Shesha berates her for doing so, but eventually towards the end, she falls for Rithik and becomes obsessed with him. One must have heard of the idiom 'saali aadhi gharwali hoti'. But Shesha gave it a completely new twist, claiming her rights on her jija!

Tanu (Leena Jumani in Kumkum Bhagya)

It's been years and Tanu is still pregnant. Thankfully unlike in Geet where Geet's baby bump did not show up, Tanu has one here. Also, she is carrying a baby and indulging in bad deeds. Don't they say that the baby starts learning things right from the time that it is in the womb? Looks like instead of Simar, Tanu will give birth to a devil child.

Shagun (Anita Hassanandani in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein)

We have heard of open marriages but not the concept of an open family. Shagun introduces this concept wherein anybody can marry anybody, anyone can bear and raise anyone's child and anyone can reside at anybody's place. Okay, we are saying no more.

Ragini (Tejasswi Prakash Wayangankar in Swaragini)

Ragini took the words everything is fair in love and war' to her heart, literally. She did not even blink an eye when she decided to ruin her sister's life because the guy she was in love with, was in love with her sister. She first character assassinated her sister, then pushed her into the river on the day of her marriage so that she could take her sister's place. She then made sure that her sister fell in the eyes of her in-laws and what not.

Gaura (Vandana Pathak in Saath Nibhana Saathiya)

Gaura set the bar high for vamps. Vamps could take gurudakshina' from Gaura. She waited for a really long time to avenge her brother's death from Kokila. She pretended to be Kokila's friend, got her to arrange an alliance between her grandson and Kokila's granddaughter, just so that she could torture her and take revenge from Kokila. She did wait patiently for the harvest to grow, didn't she?
This is a light-hearted feature that we have attempted with an aim to do something different. While the Gurus are appreciated always, let's give the vamps a chance this time.
