Sorry I am bit late on this one, but in my defense the day ran out too fast.
So let us get back to business and dissect the episode though there wasn't really much to decipher...all of it was out to see in the vision of the naked eye.
To begin with I really loved that juxtaposition of Kishore Kumar's Rim jim gire saawan and the scenes of Shivaay and Anika. The lyrics are pure gem and to see a play by play of previous scenes sail away smoothly was indeed a treat. Shivaay feels a tinge of pain in him for bringing down Anika but that pain hasn't crossed the threshold, and that is one reason why he is able to suppress the most of it. Anika on the other hand is in massive bouts of pain but the fire in her refuses to burn out. As I said she has nothing to fight for, which simply means there is nothing to lose. And when one is left with nothing to lose they are at their boldest. So now when Anika strikes, she will strike to finish this fight for once and for all. I really didn't understand why they showed Om and Ishana in that particular scene. Seems like now Shivika is one track they are rushing off with this particular pair. Also I can understand Om being affected by that harsh reality that Ishana pulled in front of him, "everyone has to fight their own battles." But Ishana being affected by Om after she had made a bold claim that she will enjoy conning him is something I am unable to understand. Anyways this is one messed up character that swings to all extremes without finding its due position.
So Tia along with her mom Sandhya made an appearance pestering the Oberois to decide on the date for engagement earning a glare from Rudra. Trust me I had the same expression on my face when the woman opened her mouth. And who is this Robin? Such a constipated fellow, he was rightly chided by Ruddy that "bhengaa hai kya?"😆
Shivaay was busy with the phone call that would guarantee him his victory over a nemesis he has earned some 72 hours ago. One thing that I have come to notice about this guy is that he wants to deserve his win. He vehemently hates the concept of losing to someone but at the same time he wants his victory to be hard earned. He hadn't rejoiced until he had a confirmation that said Anika encashed the cheque he had thrown off to her. His psyche swung into celebration only when he had the confirmed report that said Anika had fallen and fallen apart. I am thinking this one trait of his will be explored in humongous proportions in the future. He wants to possess things, he wants to control them but he wants to deserve to do the same. Again his layers are being peeled off; please don't throw him back to the same quarter of being the two-dimensional stuff that no one wants to see.
The best thing about last night's episode was no doubt Rudra darling. He is so agitated with the idea that Tia will turn his sister-in-law that he wants to take any and every opportunity that he gets to shove her out of this equation. That was practically the reason why he began dancing the moment Shivaay said he doesn't want to get engaged to Tia. That one scene was so hilarious. Om was trying his best to knock some sense into him while Rudra had been dancing without a care in the world. God I love Leenesh's comic timing. The guy is one fire when it comes to making others laugh clutching their stomach. ⭐️Om legit looked as though he will bang his head on something to make him stop. Uff what an untamable force our little Rudra is. No wonder Shivaay and Om had claimed he is seven year old girl with abs!
But Rudra's dreams come crashing down when Shivaay declared he directly wants to get married to Tia. You could see how crestfallen the guy was. If it were up to him then his brothers would remain spinsters forever. Dadi asks what, Pinki has the question but Rudra has the question WHY?? He hates Lady Baba. This fact was proven once again.😆😆
So he drags Om to his room and rants his heart out saying how much he hates everything that is going around.
This was a total gem to be honest.
Om: Tujhe Tia se problem hai ya shaadi ke concept se?
Rudra: Shaadi ke concept se. Apni mummy ka birthday yaad rakho, uski mummy ka birthday yaad rakho...arre kitni mummiyon ka birthday yaad rakhun? Phir anniversary yaad rakho, ye yaad rakho first kiss yaad rakho. First kiss kaun yaad rakhta hai? Issey acha toh aadmi zeher kha kar marr haye aur Bhaiya wahi karne jaa rahe hain.🤣
Shivaay enters to see him rant and he is exasperated.
Shivaay: Ye kya ho raha hai?
Rudra: Dabba.
Shivaay: Huh?
Rudra: Abba, dabba, jhabba.
Shivaay looks incredulously at Om and asks: Ye pagal ho gaya hai?
Om can only shake his head.🤣
Since Om is sandwiched between his brothers he lets it out that what is it with him that he marrying Tia and still runs into Anika? Shivaay puts it out that he's got nothing to do with her and that her role in his life is significantly over. Trust me God must be hysterical somewhere at that one statement of his. Anika is there affecting him, and messing up with his routine and orderly life badly. Maybe her hindrances will open the gates of the fort he has so cautiously crafted around him. He has never really played a role where there is someone to look after him, all his life he has cared for other. Yes he got pure love in return but that is not enough. There undoubtedly is a corner that is left untouched. That corner now needs to take a center stage. Maybe with Anika colliding with him, things will change.
In fact his conversation with Dadi previously hinted at the same. He has been so used to taking care of his family and winning battles on professional fronts that he has never had any time to think about himself or care about his needs. He has risked his all for the sake of others or his empire but at the end of the day he is a lone ranger fending off all by himself. His brothers have made a superhero out of him, and now he is unable to reclaim the cast of a mortal to breathe without any tension. He hasn't allowed himself to taste the bitter does of failure because superheroes don't fail. They win no matter what versions of stories are told. This is the prime reason why he never behaves rationally on this one front. It is always bump and go for him. Maybe just this once, dynamics will change or bend to allow him a respite.
The kitchen scene was another hilarious thing. God and what was that Cat Call Rudra gave when he saw Tia. I am pretty sure he has some kaand' up his sleeve that he will deploy to make this wedding not happen somehow! So Tia gets a dry facial and Rudra is the happiest one about it. Om wants to laugh but his decency is preventing him to do so. Man these younger pooches of Shivaay; they are one helluva alarm of trouble and mischief themselves.😆
And that dialogue Om renders on seeing Anika stand there, "Please angry young man banana se pehle merii baat sun..." But again when does Shivaay listen. He rushes off to Anika only to meet a sassier version of the woman he thought he had broken. She has really taken the cue that she has nothing more to lose and hence can enter the battle a little more confident that she had previously been. This fiery Hell Cat is going to be a treat to the eyes no doubt.
Her cool reply to all his claims and especially her open challenge that she'd throw her attitude right on his face made me gloat. I love Alpha Females. They are the specie that instigate and excite your core into action. Please let Anika remain this badass. Shivaay will now have a takkar ka challenge to overcome.😎
Pinki for once looked really regal in that open hairs and saner clothes. Dress her up like that more please. And for heaven sake don't give Tia such horrendous earrings. They were so bad that I can't even begin to speak the same.
More of Rudra for this baby is a drama queen and to watch him is a treat always.
Best dialogue of the day.
Tia: God mujhe kuch dikh nahi raha hai. Ho kya raha hai?
Rudra: O baal badha raha hai, main phool uga raha hoon O ke baalon mein lagane ke liye!
Precap: I'd say bring it on. Looks like Shivika will now have a saner story to present us with.
Rudra is a guy who can bring down the house with his antics. Add to this Anika and Shivaay would probably bolt for Planet Mars never to return back while Om would be sitting on a couch with popcorn and enjoy it all!😆
