While Colors earned the name for the channel by airing shows with concepts around the social issues and insights about such hidden traditions and customs, which common people did not hear or see before. Even the concept has got good detailing about the very old practice. Devdasi system is a bad tradition, where a woman is made to marry Lord Krishna and then she is subjected to serve many men, by the belief that Lord exists in every man. The woman is made to dance infront of them, and be an obedient Daasi to her Lords. The men command her as its her duty to be fulfilling. While its very annoying to know about such practice, it really exists in the world, and this truth has been made evident by Colors with this bold show Krishnadasi.
