Yes she used to keep secrets but she never uttered lies. She was always shown as sacchai ki murthy especially during the Sharuv wedding track. How she refused to cheat someone and tell lies when Bihaan asked her to do it to beat Shraddha in the card game. But now she is uttering pure white lies to Bihaan of all people who is supposed to be the most important person in her life. She is not bothered about Bihaan's life also. She thinks keeping DS secret is more important than Bihaans life! Ultimately if Bihaan dies (God Forbid) then what will she do? She will be still happy because she kept DS sacchai a secret and hence she will not expose DS also? Because from her pov, what has happened has happened. U cant bring back Bihaan back so let the family live in peace? Omigod what a character assassination will it be!?

Did her papa tell her that keeping the family in a state of false notions is the best thing to do even if it means sacrificing a life? If like @Lachu always said for her Thapki and Bihaan are one - so she doesn't mind him dying? I am sorry - if this is love, I don't buy that kind of love. I don't need that kind of love nor will I promote such kind of love!

But this is not about not "uttering unfavourable truth" but it is about "uttering lies". Thapki has been lying to Bihaan.
If this is FL glorification track, then I don't believe they are achieving it. They have butchered her character sufficiently. I am wondering whether this track is for butchering Thapki's character or to make a Saopla out of DS or like some people / spoilers say this is Bihaan ke pyaar ki parikshaa?! I can't believe. It is all about how low Thapki can fall to keep her ex-es true secret from everyone. She can even go to the extent of killing her husband (indirectly of course - supporting or keeping quiet when a person commits a crime is equivalent to committing the crime).
