*Made for each other*
There she stood before the window in a dead silent room looking at the infinite stars in the sky bringing in tiny bit of light to her face. Had she been her old self, this day of hers would never even be a part of her worst nightmares. This was so not her. All these were so strange and new to her, yet this was all she wanted right now. A calm and silent time within herself to soothe the pain that she was experiencing after such a long and tiring day at the Academy. But, all she could do was feel the pain in her heart which in a way soothed her body pain. She always loved dancing. Dancing was the best medicine that she prefers for any kind of stress or pain she faced. And it sure did wonders. But today, it could simply do nothing. Because nothing could heal the pain that she was suffering with.
She quickly recalled how she found a tiny, beautiful sculpture of a girl when she was walking near the Marine drive today. Taking a walk there at early mornings gave her a different kind of peace which she never dreamt of. The girl had a different kind of intensity in her eyes. Maybe a mixture of love, guilt and regret. While she was looking at her, the look of amusement in her own eyes suddenly changed into guilt and regret. It had brought him his memories, their memories. She had recalled at that moment how he used to mend those stones and convert them to beautiful sculptures and breathe lives into them. That intensity and smile in his face would always reach his eyes which gave him look ethereal. And that look of immense pleasure in his face would bring immense happiness in her heart. That tiny lady weighing around 2.5kgs in her hand would easily have sold to lakhs for the beauty she was. Not simply for the precious stone she was made of, but for the magic hands of the man who created her. She had reached the nearby police station and handed it over to them telling how precious the stone was. She had asked them to return it to its owner and left.
She laughed at the irony thinking about that. Her life changed upside down all of a sudden. Or maybe it slowly did but she wasn't aware of that. The old Ishana would have kept it to herself only to sell it to someone at price higher than it was worth of and fooled them. But today, things changed upside down.
It has been 3 weeks or 2 weeks and 5 days to be exact since he turned away from her, her life. That look of anger, pain and devastation in his face was all she could remember. And it has been pricking her. The mere fact that she is the reason behind that look, that she was the one who betrayed him added to it.
Will he ever forgive her? Will she ever forgive herself for that? Were the questions running in her head. Maybe she knows the answer of the latter one. NEVER. But she definitely doesn't for the former one. Though she hopes that it would be YES. But who was she kidding? This couldn't happen and shouldn't happen. Because she simply doesn't deserve that. He was a man of truth and she, on the contrary is a lie. All her life had been nothing but lie.
The man whom she thought was her father, was never hers. His love, support and every concern he showed towards her was merely a lie. And she trusted the biggest lie of her life more than herself. Was it her fault to have believed that Parents are always right? The one thing that she wanted in her life was the happiness of that man. And she did what not to achieve that, Fooled with people's feelings and played with them. Maybe she even lost herself in doing what she was made to believe is right. But never had she dreamt that all this would change. Never had she dreamt of losing her or rather finding herself from the moment she met him. He made her meet a new herself her ownself in his own way. He taught her what Love is, he made her see the world in his eyes. And how beautiful it was. He loved her, he made her realise how it felt to be loved. He taught her the feeling of losing something so close to one's heart. But little did he know that he made her lose her heart to him and now she knew what it feels like. And what did she give him? Nothing but betrayal. The feeling of being betrayed by the loved one was all she gave him. She wished to take them back but she couldn't. Can she?

The 2.5kg girl in his hand was all he was looking at since he brought her back from the station after losing her at Marine drive in the morning. He recalled how he got a call from the officer and how he was so proud to meet him, his favourite artist and how he immediately figured out who's this lady belonged to, seeing the tiny O sign at the bottom after the woman returned it to him. He enquired about the woman so that she could thank her for helping him indirectly in finding her. But when he figured out who it was from the details the officer gave, he was shocked. Shocked would be an understatement. He felt a mixture of emotions running into him. Was she here too? How was she? Wasn't she able to figure out whose this could be? Didn't she find out it was his? So many questions ran into his mind.
But all of a sudden, he couldn't help but think of why she returned it back. Being the con artist for years, she would have easily figured out the cost of this sculpture. It could have paid her lakhs. Does this mean that she has really changed?
The lady in his hand is nothing but her. It is her. Her face, when he confronted her of her intentions. Filled with mixture of Love, Guilt, and Regret. That was all he could think for the past 19 days. And that is when he created the lady now in his palms. She so reminded him of her. His mind slowly shifted to those times where he and she would be enjoying. Her innocent smile, her nautanki behaviours, her filmy dialogues brought out a small curve around his lips. Remembering her, thinking about them he smiled, and it reached his eyes in no time. She had been the reason that his smallest dreams of spending sweet moments with his parents has become true. She had brought the colours that he brought to the sculptures which no one could bring in his life.
But all this was fake. She faked them. She betrayed you. She used you. She fooled you. His mind shouted at him. Can you ever forget her? Can you forget what she gave you? Can you get rid of the colours she brought to your life?' His heart questioned.

She couldn't believe her eyes. She rubbed them for the nth time. Because this could simply not happen. She was only dreaming. She sighed heavily and turned around from the spot. But she suddenly felt a hand tugging her wrist. Her eyes widened. And she knows whose it is. Now she knows it's not her daydreams like she has been having or the past 5 days. She slowly turned to make sure that it is actually happening. There he stood. His eyes boring into hers and hand still holding hers. His eyes showered with Love. Just like she dreamt, here he stood in front of her making her dreams come true.
She could see so many questions in his eyes. But she couldn't answer any of those. Just when she saw him opening his mouth to speak up, she covered it with her not letting him tell a word.
"Om, I love you"
There. She said it. The one thing that he wanted to hear.He could feel his heart coming back to life. Of course he had come here to get all her answers. But now he realised he didn't need any of them. This was all he wanted. And here she said it. This time, it is not a lie. He knew that. Her eyes conveyed that it was true. He felt a sudden raise of happiness in his heart.
"I love you. I love you so much"
All he could see was love in every inch of her, overflowing. Love for him. That meant the world to him. He now realised that this lady looking at him with immense love for him is all he needed for his entire life. And only that meant Happiness him.
"I don't know why, when and how I fell in love with you."
Her eyes mirrored his. But he suddenly could see mixture of guilt and pain in hers.
"But I know that I could never give you the happiness that you deserve."
"What? Can you not see? I was miserable for the last few days just because you were not with me. Now that I saw you, all I need is you. You are my happiness Ishana. Can you..."
"Om, I'm a thief. A con woman. All I have in my life is Lie. You and me, even this was faked. You hate lies Om. You wish for only truth in your life, which I have never faced."
"You were a thief. Not now. and you are never going to be one. We both know that. And I know that Out love is not fake. That is the biggest truth of my life."
"Om, I promise you. I'll never go back to that phase ever again and I hope that you forgive me for what I did to you. I can't take back my sins. But I surely can try to undo it by some good deeds. And I want to punish myself by staying away from you."
His heart stopped at that. How could she do that so easily. Was it that easy for her?
"Because I know, staying away from you is no less than death for me.And this is how I deserve to be punished."
"And staying away fro you is worser than death to me Ishana"

I know I ended it abruptly. But I couldn't help it. Please forgive me if you didnt like it. I couldn't think of a better one.
