dimaag ki batti jali? Aamir Khan and Sonu Niigaam

Aamir Khan's appearance on the sets of Zee's Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs at Famous Studios on Tuesday night, had judge Sonu Niigaam in star-struck mode.

The singer has been an ardent fan of the actor from his childhood days. When Sonu heard about the celeb guest on the show, he brought his childhood slam book on Aamir to the sets. Like any die-hard fan, he wanted Aamir to autograph it.

It is learnt that Sonu initially had reservations about showing Aamir the book that had pictures of the actor from his earlier films besides newspaper cuttings. He wondered how he would react going through Sonu's cut-and-paste job of his younger days. But to his surprise, Aamir's eyes became moist while seeing the book.

An eyewitness reveals, "Sonu told Aamir that he had idolised him since he was knee-high, watched his every film, read his every interview and dreamt of enjoying a fan following like him, especially of the female fans!"

Aamir was extremely touched and said, "Sonu, in fact, I am a huge fan of yours and admire your versatility. And as a teenager, you fantasised of having a female fan following like mine, you have most certainly lived out your dream."

Aamir will be part of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs in this week's episode to promote his film Taare Zameen Par. It also has him croon the Aati Kya Khandala track.
