Many good actresses have come and gone but divas like Rekha come seldom.She looked great, acted well and had immense star appeal.

Voted for Rekha.

Rekha started off a little too young but rose quickly up the ranks. Her jodi with Mr B got very popular but with movies like Ghar, Khoobsurat and Umrao Jaan, Khoon Bhari Maang etc she showed her versatility. She was definitely amongst the more glamorous actresses but still showed her talent, especially in dancing and expressions compared to Jaya. She is still talked about for the freshness she brought to movies in the 70s and 80s.

To sum up, for me, both are amazing actresses but I admire Jaya Bhaduri / Bachchan more. In the (only?) movie they did together, Silsila, I admired how restrained and dignified Jaya's performance was, especially considering the rumours of Mr B and Rekha going on at that time. Rekha had the more glam role too, but I think Jaya's screen presence is such that I just can't take my eyes off her when she's on the screen. 😊

@bold - You said it. I love watching Jaya B. She lights up the screen.

Loved her cameo in Ki and Ka. What an endearing performance. Even when Ki is reading the letter and you can only hear Jaya B, her voice has that strong pull. I could so imagine all her expressions thru it.
