Another episode filled with sweet sour moments close to real life . Most of us ,had read about halwa incident nevertheless if you are feeling heaviness in your heart after watching it today, we have to give it to the writers and cast.👏👏👏

"My son is working hard and tired now a days , and this halwa will make him happy and bring a smile in his face " , we all knew that was silly excuse in real it was an attempt to keep the bindings intact , to get rid of her uneasiness over the thought of Dev going away from her . And she was RIGHT !!! , Dev relished her halwa , he savored that sweetness , of course there were only a few memories of his past he could cherish like that . And who else than our moms can make our face lit like fireworks with our favorite dish. The confidence and hope in Ishwari's face while cooking , of how Dev is going to enjoy it , her curiosity to watch him eat , and Dev's expressions when he get a whiff of halwa , too distracted while enquiring about it n mom to Bhola , hastiness to taste it , Ishwari's content look while watching Dev's joy while eating it . It was a moment of reassurance for her . God how beautifully emoted sequence. The moment he says I cannot have more , and take it away and utters Sonakshi's name , shock will be an understatement to describe Ishwari's face . Dev refusing her halwa for whatever reason , was "IMPLAUSIBLE" for her . Surpriya ji was brilliant , she owned this episode .

It's interesting , with one look Dev realized the reason , for her despair, later on , n he didn't even hesitate for a moment to eradicate it. We all have some vulnerabilities n weaknesses. However hard we try to fight it , we cannot get rid of some, and finally we GIVE IN . Brilliant way of giving us insight to the future track , again kudos to CVs.👏

PS: Devakshi car scene was cute, n real . I soo used to do it all the time . I wish in stead of casual treatment , they should have used a lil more romance(My shipper hearty is being greedy 😛) . Well ,I didn't expect them ( at least Sona , she was smart enough to think of the ladies in the house during Mehandi time) to keep it for next day with GKB , hovering around them all the time . Please don't get caught !!!

( I missed my mom watching todays episode . "mmm ..World's best , Maa kya banaati hei tu, we all told this line atleast once na )😭

Yes so true !!!!! your topic title is bang on spot. Finally Dev will give in to his mom and finally Ishwari will give in to devakshi 😛 .
But it is the journey from now on which will keep us glued to this story. I want to see it from the makers point of view and not from how I want to see the story unfold. I know I am gonna have ifs and buts along the way but am willing to go through this journey as it opens many layers of life which I am personally not exposed to and this will help my learning curve.
I like this story for what is shown and how it so intricately woven to real life everyday happenings, rather than OTP conditions that drama needs rather serials need to survive this TRP race.
I am watching it to see Ishwari, just stoop to her lowest being ( not as originally portrayed by the makers ) and then rise and learn to accept the changes of her children growing to be adult with individual lives their own.
Its not easy for a mom to let her baby go to school on the first day of her play school, its a big struggle between the mind and the heart to let go of the baby from your hand.It is diffcult to accept that someone else can also take care of your child. (read teacher) . Ishwari is facing the similar struggle of letting her son go away to be pampered and taken care of by another woman.
But in the end everyone will "FINALLY GIVE IN", watching this journey will be a great experience, if the makers keep the standards they have maintained uptil now. 😊

PS: a lovely write up, a very nice perspective of the episode, with more emphasis on the story line. I am sorry I failed to comment of your writing, but rather went on with my rant.

100% true , First time letting go of your child , wonderful example
