Trijata reports the war happenings to Sita.
Ram fires an arrow towards Dhumraksh but he vanishes.
Sita smiles and tells Trijata that she has faith in Ram.
Ram concentrates and his released arrow hits the Asura in his leg. He then hits him in his arm and aimes consecutive arrows towards his torso. The enraged Asura throws away his weapon towards Ram but the latter's arrow destroys the weapon as well as its owner.
Meghnad reports Dhumraksh's fall to Ravana. Meghnad tells Ravana that this victory will surely boost the morale of the foe. He seeks Ravana's permission to end the battle. Ravana denies and asks him to seek invincibility by performing a Yajna.
Ravana comes to a place where goddess Kali is being worshipped. He cuts his finger and offers his blood to the goddess. He tells Akampana that his community has always been neglected by the society. But from now they will be a part of the Asura clan. Akampana will hold the flag tomorrow.
Lakshman wonders why Meghnad wasn't sent in the war. Ram tells him that Ravana's strategy is meant to exhaust their powers and then defeat them by jumping in the battle. Sugreev agrees and utters that Ravana had used the same strategy in his battle with Indra. Ram utters that they have to protect their army from getting exhausted and kill Ravana's warriors one after another. He tells Angad to lead the army in the next day's battle.
Sita lights an Akhand Jyoti and tells Trijata that it's the symbol of Ram's victory. She recites the Gayatri Mantra. A Shankhnad begins the next day's battle. Vibhishan tells Ram about the foe's commanders. Ram's army begins attacks with chants of Jai Sri Ram.
