~* The One With Nadia's Birthday Party *~

This was going to be her best birthday ever!

That was the only thought that kept swirling through Nadia's head throughout the day. With eyes sparkling with excitement, and a joyous face that could light up even the darkest place, Nadia was the picture perfect birthday girl!

Add with that her glamorous dress and the elegant hair do, she was indeed a pretty sight to behold. Nadia sighed happily at the mirror once again and bent down to tie her matching shoes' straps. Bubbling excitement made her hands shake and turned this easy job a little tougher. Nadia did not mind though. Why will she when she knew what waited for her afterwards will make it totally worth the effort!

She still could not believe it.

It has been two days since she received the card, but she was still having trouble believing it. Nadia dug into her purse for the umpteenth time and brought out the card. An invitation to Central Perk and a chance to spend the evening with the infamous Friends!

Like really!

With the F.R.I.E.N.D.S!

Apparently Nadia had taken part in some online contest held during the show's new season's launch and unbelievably she had won it! She won an exclusive chance to spend an evening with the famous show's characters in their iconic coffee shop!

Still unable to believe her luck, Nadia walked up to her waiting place with shaky legs and found herself a place to sit down and wait.

It has been, what, five minutes?

Nadia checked her watch. Nope. Just three minutes and fifty-one seconds. But it felt like an eternity had passed by since she arrived here. Nadia sighed heavily. Seems like excitement and waiting don't get along well. She was just about to get up and pace the length of the Perk, when suddenly two figures in dark cloaks appeared in front of her out of nowhere!

Yelp!

One of the figures took off her cloak and guess what?

It was none other than Hermione Granger, Nadia's most favourite witch of all time!

Hermione flicked a look over her shoulder towards the other figure and in an annoyed voice said, "You can take off your cloak now and stop scaring the poor girl."

The other figure took off his cloak to reveal a dishevelled Ron, spluttering with coughs.

Hermione exasperated, asked, "When will you learn to use the Floo powder in its correct dose? Even Harry can use it smoothly now, but you just can't! Speaking of Harry, where is he? Wasn't he supposed to come with us as well?"

Harry appeared out of nowhere holding his invisible cloak and said "I'm right here. Shouldn't we go and meet Nadia now?"

Nadia could hardly believe her eyes or ears at that point. The magical trio have come to meet her? Really? She had come here expecting to meet the FRIENDS, but now she's getting to meet three of the best witches and wizards of the world?

She was certainly not complaining.

Nadia extended her shaky hand to the trio and said in a nervous voice "Hi! I'm Nadia. I think I know you three."

They smiled at her and before she could imagine, time just flew by.

Nadia sighed dreamily. It's been an hour since she was hanging out with the magical trio and nothing could be more perfect than that!

Well... something could be.

She had come here to meet the Friends cast she was so fond of, but seems like no one was to turn up. Not to mention none of the three magical beings present before her, even bothered to wish her!

But that's okay, Nadia reasoned with herself. One cannot get everything they wish for.

She was so lost in her thoughts that she barely noticed the trio were whispering between themselves and were looking pretty suspicious.

Harry cleared his throat and announced "Now Ron will perform a special spell, just for Nadia!"

Nadia was brought back from her saddening thoughts by the sound of that and she stared at Ron with his wand in his hand, sporting a face pinched with concentration. Before Nadia knew what was happening Rachel and Ross appeared before her, right in the middle of a kiss!

"What the hell!" Rachel shrieked and pivoted around her spot to glare at a pale, nervous Ron.

"Errr... perhaps I got the spell wrong... I was supposed to summon Monica and Chandler, but somehow you two ended up here." Ron answered in a timid voice.

"The hell you got!" Ross spat, evidently furious.

Ron requested in a shaky voice, "Let me try again," and closed his eyes concentrating.

The next moment Nadia blinked, Phoebe and Joey were standing in front of them looking hell confused. Joey, who was attempting to finish his last slice of pizza, froze as he became the center of attention.

"Holy crap! I got it wrong again!" Ron murmured nervously and Ross, looking exasperated, turned to Hermione.

"Why don't you help this poor guy out?"

Harry replied in place of her, "It was supposed to be our day off. Ron took all the responsibilities on his shoulder you see."

"Yeah! And he is completely screwing them up!" Came Ross' annoyed answer.

Nadia could visibly see Ron fuming with anger and before she knew what was happening, Monica and Chandler appeared with a huge chocolate cake which Chandler threw to Ross without an ounce of hesitation! To Nadia's and Monica's great horror the cake changed its direction in mid-air and smacked Nadia right in her face, knocking her down to the ground!

"MY CAKE! It took me TWO weeks to make that damn thing!" Came Monica's startled cry.

WOW!

Nadia sighed, drenched in cake icing and decked up in cake pieces. What a great way to turn a perfect evening into the messiest one. Nadia thought to get up real quick and make a run for the gate before anyone started making fun of her, but Phoebe beat her to it. She peeked a glance at Nadia while helping her pick out cake frosting from her hair. She smiled sweetly and tarted singing out the most beautiful birthday wish Nadia could ever hope for!

"Birthdays are a new start, a fresh beginning

So please forget the mess we have been creating!

Celebrating your birthday with such great fervour.

For making a havoc at the start of your new year.

And with that, everyone present in Central Perk, screamed "HAPPY BIRTHDAY NADIA!"
