Chan to launch Himesh's music for Hassan film

Himesh Reshammiya's first Tamil film Dashaavtaram's music will be released by Jackie Chan. The action superstar is expected to fly down to Chennai in February 2008 for the music launch of this film starring Kamal Hassan in ten different roles.

We learnt that it has been possible for the producer of the film, Oscar Films' Ravichandran to manage this feat as he holds the rights to release Jackie Chan's movies in India. Our sources informed that Ravichandran showed the Rush Hour series star clippings from the south superstar's films which got him impressed. He was astonished to see Kamal's 10 different roles act in the same movie, especially the part where he plays a 92 year old lady. He could not believe it that Kamal is 54 and has been acting since the age of 5.

When we broke the news to him, Himesh replied, "I am really delighted to hear this. I am looking forward to the launch".

For the music launch, a grand function is being planned with invites to be sent to top stars from Indian cinema including Bollywood stars such as Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan, south cinema big names like Nagarjuna, Chiranjeevi, Mammootty, Mohanlal, Nagarjuna and Vishnu Vardhan are being invited.

Asin, who is playing the lead opposite Aamir Khan in his Ghajini remake, is the heroine of Dashaavtaram. It also has Mallika Sherawat playing a negative character. The film is touted to do a bigger business than Rajnikanth starrer Sivaji. Presently three hundred technicians at two different places are working round the clock on its post production. The film is also being dubbed in Hindi and is going to be released together in the both its version during the Tamil New Year falling in mid April 2008.
