point of correction-ayesha and prachi are not step sisters.they are half sisters coz they share one parent
(inder)which means they are blood related.step sister refers to someone whom you dont share any blood relations with but are related thru marriage.eg.sneha and kuki
No, step-sisters and half-sisters mean one and the same. They share one parent either a mother or a father. What you are refering to, ie., wifes to two brothers are called as sisters-in-law by the rest of the world but are called as co-sisters in India. Husbands of two sisters are refered to as co-brothers to each other.
