You are right about Kannada films not given recognition, I am seeing there is not much said about these films or Kannada actors on forums or anything. Tamil and Telugu films are topmost. I really wonder why because both content wise and technically I found these movies fabulous. Sudeep got Bollywood breaks in Makkhi where he did a fab job and Phoonk and Raktacharitra but these werent hero focussed movies so he never made it big in Bollywood. But I think he is fabulous and has so much potential to do tough guy Ajay Deevgan like movies but then he is better than Ajay in the sense that he is an all rounder and can do comedy and villain roles also so equally well.

So glad to find someone who recognizes Sudeep and his talent. 😊

there are other non-sudeep movies like Lucia(drugs), Rangitharanga(mangalore culture), Simplag ond love story, masterpiece, kendasampige, mungaru male. Rama shama Bhama(u can catch Kamala hassan in this movie), first rank raju, U turn. These are a few to mention.😊

Bolly actors like shilpa shetty, Juhi Chawala, Anil Kapoor have also worked in kannada movies.😳 n Oh! Deepika padukone's debut movie- Aishwarya.
