A gripping story...

The episode begins with two people, one reporter and another cameraman reporting from a fort which has an ancient temple and has a long mysterious history. The locals believe Ashwathama visits this place. The reporters work for a juicy news by planting large footprints near the temple. Someone is closely watching them. Sometime later the reporter is dead. The cameraman is in shock and is paralysed thereafter...

As per the reports flashing in the news channel, the caretaker of the temple Mr. Bhushan was found with the ancient sword of Aswathama that was used to kill the man. Prosecutor Jaiswal in record 10 minutes time unfolds his case in court room. He points out that only the caretaker had the access to the temple where the sword was kept. He had all the keys. KD agrees to the point but retaliates by saying that the lock was broken and not opened with a key. He also says the sword is way too heavy for an old man like the caretaker to carry. He also questions the footprints. Judge allows a forensic test for the footprints found there much to the disappointment of Jaiswal.

In KD's office Kd tells Adira that he is sure that the footprints were planted without even a forensic report. Adira is doubtful of the caretaker. As per KD the sword was used upside down and the killer has to be taller than the victim which Bhushan isn't.They meet the cameraman but he is paralysed now. The only thing he reveals is that the name of the killer begins with the letter A. Meanwhile, that suspicious man is watching the moves stealthily. He seems to be a strong and large man.

Jaiswal talks about motive. Caretaker's motive was that he didn't want that plot to be taken by the builders. So, he used a myth to scare them away. KD however cross questions the Acharya or Pujari of the temple. The Acharya says he has seen Bhushan planting those footprints many times. Kd however reveals that even he had the same motive of not letting the builders in because the Ashwathama myth brought tourists and devotees which increased his income by 20 percent. KD warns Bhushan that he must tell the truth because he fights for truth and nothing else. Bhushan is disturbed.

In the police station, light goes off for a minute. Suddenly some one attacks them . When the electricity is restored there are footprints of a large man and the lock up's grill has been damaged. Bhushan is still silent. Adira is sent to the crime scene for further investigation while . Judge allows some more time. Adira goes to the temple and finds real large footprints. While following hte man Adira comes across the man. He is scary, one eyed and large man. Adira runs for her life and loses her senses...

KD is in court. KD argues that although the first footprints were fake, the one found in hte police station are real and it was not possible for a man of mediocre health and age to bend a rod like this. Judge allows him another two days. Outside, Adira is present and she is describing the mysterious man to KD while Jaiswal is stealthily listening to it...
